COLOURBOX Fat Lash Mascara & Kajal Review

Hello everyone,
Today I shall be reviewing the COLOURBOX Fat Lash Mascara & Kajal in this post which is a new range of products launched by Oriflame. Slowly and steadily they added many products in their collection which I have and will feature the others in the future. The Colourbox collection is  a revamped version of their old collection from what I know. Also the price range is less and aimed for everyone for everyday use. I have been using the mascara and kajal and will tell you what I think of the same hence please keep on reading...

The mascara comes in a white opaque tube with a black cap to it.It looks nice and trendy and is travel friendly. The wand is fat and interesting and the way the bristles are placed they separate the lashes well and coat each one of them. You can add 2 -3 coats as per your liking but I would suggest not more than 2 coats as it may weigh down the lashes. Also using a eye lash curler would make all the difference especially if you have droopy eye lashes so do invest in one. The mascara is long lasting and not waterproof which I am ok with because waterproof mascaras give me a hard time taking it off. The mascara lasts all day without flaking and hence I would say this mascara is perfect for everyday wear but not in monsoons ☺

COLOURBOX  KAJAL
Price: Rs.179/-

COLOURBOX Fat Lash Kajal Review
The kajal looks exactly like their older version except for the name COLOURBOX engraved on it. The kajal is a fat chubby stick with a silver cap and needs to be sharpened. It does not come with a sharpener so you need to buy one if you don't from the market. I find the packaging decent and travel friendly. Nothing much is written on the kajal which is a bummer but then most brands don't mention anything as well.

The pigmentation is good but needs to be layered a lot. I found the kajal a bit waxy as well. I honestly think the formula can be better as there is serious competition in the same price range for kajals in the market. It does smudge after 3 hours or so and if you have oily lids and watery eyes its best to apply some powder before application. I do use a powder eye shadow to set it as well  and that way it stays put for longer. I mean there is no kajal which has 0 smudging capability and definitely this trick works. The kajal is decent but not smudge free and long lasting but still can be worked with based on the tips I mentioned.

My final thoughts are that the mascara is amazing and the kajal is average to be honest. Do try the mascara if you are looking for something for everyday and which is non waterproof.

Do let me know your thoughts in the comments section about these products. Have you tried them? and which is your favourite mascara.

  2. Kajal is out of the question for me. It does none except but sink my eyes deeper into my darkness. Mascara on the other hand is my kinda. Love this brand and yes, I don't care much on being waterproof unless and until the need arises.
