C2P Professional High Definition Liquid Foundation (Shade 1) Review & FOTD

Hey everyone,
Hope you all had a fantastic New Year's eve celebration. I wish you all the best for the coming year and may it bring you health, happiness and prosperity. Like they say if the foundation is good you are good to go and the same is applicable for makeup as well (wink) So let me tell you a small secret that I rarely wear proper foundation, I am a BB/CC cream fan anyday but I have now decided to explore various foundations especially the inexpensive ones because not everyone has the budget for MAC - let's keep it real honey! So today I am going to review C2P Professional High Definition Liquid Foundation in Shade 1  which I have been trying for a month or so and you know what it is an HD Foundation. If you wish to know more about this product please keep on reading......

C2P Professional High Definition Liquid Foundation Review & FOTD

Price: Rs.750/-  for 30 ml (what I received was a sample size)
You can check out their products on Snapdeal HERE or their website HERE
You can also check out their Facebook page HERE

Shelf life: 2 Years

Ingredients:

Dyana International is the company who introduced C2P products in the market and was founded in August 1990.They have 2 sub  brands under their belt:
Amura cosmetics which is a basic line of makeup with kajal, eye shadow, mascara lipsticks etc and
C2P (Cosmetics to Professional) which has a wide range of make up like HD foundation, pressed powder, nail paints, lipsticks, eyeshadow and also make up brushes. The quality is great and is apt for use by makeup artists/professionals or even by  you and me.

Packaging:
It comes in a glass bottle with a golden type packaging. The lid is good and does not easily come off. What is best that it comes with a pump dispenser which makes my life very easy. It is travel and user friendly. Basic information like price and other information is printed on the bottle itself.

The foundation shade I have is no.1 and I am not sure how many shades they have sadly as there was no plenty of information on the website however if you check on Snapdeal they have a couple of shades to choose from. Coming to the shade I got it looks pretty dark in the tube if I compare it to my skin color so I was a little skeptical so I would say never judge a foundation from the bottle until you have tried it.

C2P Professional High Definition Liquid Foundation Review & FOTD

So as I mentioned I rarely use liquid foundations, I have only one ;) and this was my first time trying a High Definition Foundation (HD). So when I used it I found that it had strong yellow tones, although on blending I found it was a good match for my skintone. I used a buffing brush to get a good and even application I would recommend buying one if you do not have one.I then used a wet sponge to make it even and  take off excess product.

The foundation blends well and gives good coverage as you can tell in the pic above but it clings to dry patches hence moisturizing your skin with a good quality moisturizer is a must. Also I would say that this foundation is not meant for dry skin people unless you use a heavy duty moisturizer. So strangely this looked good on my skin and lasted for 6 hours or so after which it may get patchy like I mentioned. A HD foundation for this price is not bad at all. I wish they update their website and clearly mention the shades they have for better selection and understanding.Overall it is a good foundation for oily to normal skin in my opinion. This brand and their makeup line is equally good for professionals and common people like you and me do check them out.
