Yoga Bar - Energy Protein & Snack Bars for those unexpected hunger pangs!
Hello everyone,
It has been very rare that I have spoken about health and nutrition or weight loss related topics on my blog but there is always a start somewhere right?? So if you have read my posts in the past you know that I have been suffering from hypothyroid and weight gain - weight loss is now a part and parcel of my life. I had lost nearly 12 kgs and gained it back because of my thyroid not functioning at all. I have been on medication since the last few months and of course I am supposed to eat healthy and do some activity in a day to shed those extra pounds.
Yoga Bar Review |
The Indian market is now slowly catching up on health food in recent times. Products like oats, multi grain biscuits and now even energy bars have surfaced into the market. I had tried a brand years ago who made energy bars but somehow these have not been so popular among the masses as these are categorized as the diet version of food. But people have started to become aware of healthy food options which will satisfying their cravings of sugar, carbohydrates etc.
Some time ago I spotted this brand Yoga Bar and their energy brands online and wanted to try them as I am into health food now a days. So let me show you the ones that were sent to me and what was my experience.
Price: Rs.35/- for 38g for snack bars and Rs.125/- for 60g for protein bars

Cashew Orange Zest SnackBar

Vanilla Almond SnackBar
Rs.35/- for 38g
|
Almond Fudge Protein Bar
Rs.125/- for 60g
|
Chocolate Brownie Protein Bar
Rs.125/- for 60g
|
Chocolate Cranberry Protein Bar
Rs.125/- for 60g

So I got to try the Chocolate Cranberry and Almond Fudge one. Both are very yummy and tasty which was not what I was expecting honestly. But you can tell the difference that there is no sugar and the taste is naturally sweet. I avoid having protein bars as they are not for me because of my medical problem but it is ok to eat these because they don't contain soy protein. These can sweat in extreme heat so I would suggest storing them in the fridge and if carrying in your handbag use a small plastic to store it in to be safe. These will keep you full for 3 hours in my opinion and you don't have to eat unhealthy junk food everyday. This is best for people on the go and have no access to food or time to eat - yes we live in that kind of world don't we??
Overall I feel Yoga Bar has done a great job of coming up with these amazing energy- protein and snack bars which are so inexpensive and a healthier option than binge eating junk food during extreme hunger pangs. They keep you going and full and does not make you crave sugar or carbs. You must try these snack bars and protein energy bars. I highly recommend you to try these and can be a great gifting option for Diwali for everyone.
