Patanjali Kesh Kanti Aloe Vera Hair Cleanser Review

Hi everyone,
Hope everyone had a great weekend. Blogging for me is become very slow unlike before when I had all the energy to click pictures this and that. Well no I am not that old but now after almost 550+ posts on the blog you start feeling the pinch (tiredness and mental block)  that I should post more  quality and less quantity. I have been churning out ideas and plans about which direction my blog should go to next year  because I feel you cannot put your heart and soul into something which does not reap the fruits of your hardwork. Anyway that is some rant may be will post someday.

Patanjali  Kesh Kanti Aloe Vera Hair Cleanser Review

Talking about today's review I shall be reviewing  the Patanjali  Kesh Kanti Aloe Vera Hair Cleanser which I have been using since the last 3 weeks. I had purchased this after knowing that it is a new launch and also saw everyone hauling it hence was curious to know how it will work for my hair. If you wish to know more about this shampoo please keep on reading...

Packaging:
The shampoo comes in a clear transparent bottle with a flip cap which makes life easy. At the shop I found some of them a bit faulty so please check before you buy. The ingredients and instructions are mentioned at the back of the bottle.

The shampoo is gel based and is not too thick nor thin. It is green in color in conjunction with aloe vera but they have added color as mentioned on the bottle. Now I am a person who does not experiement with shampoos a lot as I do not want any hair damage but then the Aloe vera thing tempted me :P Ok now what I think of this shampoo is that it is amazing for my oily scalp as it cleanses it so well and also the fragrance is fruity which some may not like but I do it makes me feel fresh, energized and I get that clean feeling on my scalp.

Patanjali  Kesh Kanti Aloe Vera Hair Cleanser Review

Now although I have an oily scalp the ends are dry and frizzzy so I would suggest to best use it with a conditioner either of the same brand or of your choice.I use a sufficient amount to lather my hair and rinse it off nicely, I did not feel any sticky residue remaining on my scalp which I absolutely love. Now I feel Patanjali products are a hit or miss for me but this one I do recommend to people with a dirty/oily scalp as it does a fine job of cleansing the scalp. It can be used by any hair type unless extremely dry but followed with a conditioner of course!

The Good:
Inexpensive
Easily available
Goodness of herbs like Brahmi and Aloe Vera
Smells fruity & fresh
Helps in controlling scalp odour.
Cleanses the scalp well
Makes hair bouncy and clean

The not so Good:
Packaging - cap is flimsy
Fragrance is amazing but can bother sensitive noses
May not be best for those with extremely dry hair & scalp

MLWM Rating: 4.4/5

Patanjali  Kesh Kanti Aloe Vera Hair Cleanser does a great job of cleansing the scalp and hair. It imparts a lovely fruity smell which makes you feel fresh in the scalp post hair wash. I am loving it and would highly recommend it to everyone ☺

  5. I can understand about the blogging stuff you wrote. Its the same pinch with me. Time, picturing and writing can be tiring. Moreover, with thousands of bloggers around, its hard to be noticed by sponsors. I tried, I still blog though not so often and I will be returning to the working world. Somehow after a long break, I miss working and if I don't return to my career, I am afraid later I will have a hard time fitting in. Also, such a waste to my strings of qualifications. Still, I will keep blogging as a hobby.

Such a product from India as I have said before is hard to come by here. I will love to try this hair product. Heard about the greatness of aloe, so why not?
