Kallos Aloe Vera Gel Review

Hello everyone,
If you remember I had introduced a brand called Kallos which is a segment of the brand Haldiram - who are popular in India and need no introduction. You can check 2 of the reviews I have done previously HERE. So continuing my review series of products from the brand I shall be reviewing Kallos Aloe Vera Gel today in my blog post.. Read my review to know more...

Price: Rs.70/- for 60ml. Available online on their site - www.kallos.co.in

What does the brand say:
Kallos brings to you a 100% soap free mild face care which removes dull surfaces cell and excess oil that causes pimples with its natural therapeutic properties.
Purifies Instantly
Be Pimple & Spot Free
Get Soft & Smooth Skin
Regular use helps to maintain radiant and acne free skin.

Packaging:
The aloe vera gel comes in a white and green opaque tube with a picture of aloe vera leaf on the front very indicative of the product.Instructions and ingredients are printed at the back.It has a screw cap - I prefer a flip cap though for convenience. It is travel friendly.

Aloe vera gel is a holy grail product for my skin type as I have oily skin and can be used for face and hair as well due to its innumerable benefits.I always trust my one and only Patanjali Aloe vera gel which I have been using for years which I have reviewed HERE but when I got try something new I said why not.

The Aloe vera gel has an obvious gel like consistency. It has a light green tint to it and has a perfumy smell which I did not like honestly as it is a bit stronger than I expected. Also why would aloe vera gel have a perfume smell. It is very light weight in consistency and gets easily absorbed into the skin not leaving any sticky residue behind which I liked. For oily to combination skin this can be a good moisturizer, for dry skin one would need to layer it and for extremely dry skin it may not work well. The skin feels soft and smooth and it also helps in reducing acne. A simple DIY like Aloe vera gel  mixed with lemon juice works amazingly well for acne prone and oily skin. Aloe Vera gel is an amazing sun protectant too. Overall I like the aloe vera gel except the fragrance.

The Good:
Easily available online
Inexpensive
Hydrating and moisturizing
Gives cooling effect to the skin
Light weight and non greasy
Ideal for acne prone oily to combination skin
Travel friendly packaging

The not so Good:
May not work for dry skin unless layered in large quantities
Only available online
Smell is perfumy and strong

Rating: 3.8/5

Kallos Aloe Vera Gel is a decent aloe vera gel in my opinion. The smell is a put off for me but may not be for you. For the price it is worth trying once for those with oily to combination skin types.

So what you think of  Kallos Aloe Vera Gel ?? Would you buy it or have you tried it??Do let me know in the comments section.

Thank you for taking the time to read this post. Hope you found it useful and informative.

Until next time.. Take care xoxo
