Biotique Morning Nectar Flawless Skin Lotion Review

Hi everyone,
Continuing with my series of Biotique product reviews which is series of products which need to be followed for a flawless skin regimen is the Biotique Morning Nectar Flawless Skin Lotion which I shall be reviewing in this post today. I have spoken about the Biotique Bio Morning Nectar Flawless Skin Face Wash and Biotique Bio Papaya Revitalizing Tan Removal Scrub on my blog do check out those reviews as well. I have been using this product for quite sometime and will share my views on the same today.. Keep on reading...

Price: 199/- for 120 ml. Available at all beauty stores and online  at a discounted price HERE

Key Ingredients:
Ghritkumari (Aloe barbedensis), Methi (Trigo foenum graecum), Madhu (Honey), Ankurit gehun (Tritcum vulgare), Kusumbhi (Carthamus tinstorious), Lotion base Q.S.

What does the brand say:
This nourishing and brightening lotion is blended with pure honey, wheatgerm and seaweed. Replaces natural oils and replenishes lost moisture. Softens and brightens skin for a noticebly fairer complexion. Protects skin with SPF 30 UVA / UVB sunscreen.

Method of use:
Apply evenly over cleansed face and neck, before sun exposure, each morning. Wear alone or under makeup.

Packaging:
The lotion came enclosed in a green cardboard box with a host of information including the key ingredients. The bottle is white and opaque and has a green cap to it.The bottle has a tiny hole which dispenses the right amount of product but you may need to squeeze the bottle really hard to get a larger quantity and sometimes it squirts more than required.I hope they come up with a pump dispenser type packaging.

I have always heard about skin creams which are meant for the face and body lotion for the body but I was quite intrigued when it says skin lotion so ideally it is a lotion for the face. The consistency is light and not very greasy. Now I do have oily to combination skin and prefer light weight non greasy creams for the face. Most of the time I do away with aloe vera gel on a daily basis. So I found it emolient enough not being greasy though. However I feel it is best suited to women with normal to dry skin.

Post usage the skin felt moisturized and I love the scent to it, very similar to the  Biotique Bio Morning Nectar Flawless Skin Face Wash I have reviewed before and it reminds me of my childhood too.It definitely softens the skin as claimed but cannot say about skin getting lighter. Overall I feel it is a good product but I would not use it in summers as my skin is oily and I do sweat a lot especially on the face.

The Good:
Inexpensive
Easily available
Smells nice
Light weight & non greasy formula
Makes skin softer
Ideal for normal to dry skin women
Preservative free
Cruelty free
100% natural & vegan product
Travel friendly packaging

The not so Good:
Would not suggest for oily skin
Complete list of ingredients missing
Packaging can be improved

Rating: 4/5

Biotique Morning Nectar Flawless Skin Lotion works best for normal to dry skin and does a good job of keeping the skin moisturized making it softer on repeated uses. I would recommend it if it suits your skin type as per my review
