VLCC Rose Face Scrub Review
Hi everyone,
I shall be reviewing the VLCC Rose Face Scrub today which I have been trying for a while. If you are regular on my blog you would know that I have reviewed a lot of VLCC products, you can check all of them HERE Scrubbing your face is an essential part of my beauty regimen and so should be yours. How did this face scrub fare on me, read on to know more..........
Price: Rs.155/- for 80g. Available across all VLCC outlets and online HERE
Ingredients:
Aqua, Sodium laureth sulphate, Cocamidopropyl betaine, Glycerine, Aloe indica (Aloe) extract, Potassium hydroxide, Silicon blend, Polyethylene beads, Rosa damascena (Rose) distillate, Juglans regia (Walnut) shell powder, Carbomer, Triethanolamine, Allantoin, Honey, Saccharide isomerate, Cellulose, Phenoxyethanol, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Methylisothiazolinone, Disodium EDTA, Perfume.
Product Description
Rose, a flower known for its beauty also has legendary beautifying properties. Its extract can help reduce fine lines, smooth wrinkles, reduce inflammation, clear pores, hydrate skin, plus it is has calming aroma. VLCC’s Rose Face Scrub infused with the goodness of rose and aloe vera has been specially designed with deep cleansing and purifying properties that offer soft, smooth and fresh skin. The scrub also has micro granules and finely crushed Walnut Shell Powder that help to remove dead skin cells, superficial black/white heads and give it a satin like finish.
Packaging:
The scrub comes in a semi transparent packaging with a flip cap to ensure easy dispense of product from the tube. It is travel friendly for sure.
The scrub is pink in color, very reminiscent of rose. It has a rose scent to it too which is quite faint. It contains fine micro beads which are pink in color. It also contains Walnut Shell Powder which I like. This scrub is meant for all skin types. It does a good job of scrubbing the skin and exfoliating dead cells. Post use I felt my skin to be softer and refreshed. Scrubbing the face atleast once a week is of utomost importance as our skin is exposed to pollution and dirt. The result of which we tend to get blackheads and skin also gets dull. Unless you take care of your skin it won't treat you right. I like this face scrub - the only con I could find is that it contains parabens which I am not in favour of.
The Good:
Easily available
Inexpensive
Scrubs skin well
Exfoliates dead skin cells
Contains goodness of Roses
Meant for all skin types
Travel friendly packaging
The not so Good:
Contains parabens
Rating: 4/5
VLCC Rose Face Scrub is meant for all skin types and does a decent job of exfoliating the skin making it soft and supple. I recommend it to everyone.
