Summers are here and so is the problem of sweating, tanning and all that jazz. I am lazy when it comes to sunscreen application but not that summers is here, I make sure that I do not skip applying it as I am more of a skin care person.Not only that as the sun emits harmful UVA and UVB rays it is important to invest in a good sunscreen to avoid any skin problems. I have been using the VLCC Matte Look Sunscreen with SPF 30 PA+++ for a while now and today I shall be sharing my views on the same. Read on to know more......

How to use:
Apply liberally and evenly on the face and neck, 15-20 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply frequently for long duration sun exposure.

This Sun Screen is Paraben Free. Suitable for all skin types.
The sunscreen lotion comes in a yellow, orange and white opaque tube with a flip cap. It contains pineapple extracts and it is also visible on the packaging itself.Ingredients and other piece of information is printed at the back of the tube. Overall I like the packaging and is travel friendly too.
The sunscreen is not gel based and is quite creamy. It has a yellowish tint to it and spreads evenly on the skin and also settles quickly which I liked. It smells amazing and has a faint pineapple smell to it. It can be used under the make up as well as a primer in my opinion. For my skin tone which is light to medium it seemed to have worked well and I could not find I look ghostly or white so a big thumbs up on that part. It has SPF 30 PA +++ which I liked and is enough for me those who want SPF 50 and above this may or may not be your choice.
Considering my nature of work I do not travel in the sun that much but I have used it two to three times when I was out and it worked well for me.For the price and efficacy I really liked it.4 years ago I had tried the Sandalwood variant on my trip to Goa in May and it protected me against Tan which I found commendable. Hence I would recommend this to every skin type as mentioned by them, as it won't make the face greasy giving you complete sun protection.
It has been almost the end of June and I have used more than half of the tube. I am happy with the results it has given me. Even if you are indoors you need to apply sunscreen - it is a must have for everyone.

VLCC Matte Look Sunscreen with SPF 30 PA+++ and Pineapple extracts gets absorbed easily into the skin, gives a matte look and protects the skin against harsh rays of the sun. I recommend this sunscreen to one and all.

Interesting sunscreen like that the SPF is high due to the damage UVA and UVB causes to the skin and also gives wrinkles. Great detail review.

This is a great product. Certainly I am need to protect my skin from the always heat wave over here. But not sure if I will like the matte finishing and yellow tint. Well, I like a sunscreen that sits naturally on my skin.

ReplyDeleteNatasha, it is very important to wear sunscreen and how great that you found a product that can be worn under your make up... any of the products I have used her don't work well with make up... but I don't wear a lot in the summer due to walking and just sweating it off... xox

Even I am lazy when it comes to sunscreens, only if I am out for a long time or vacation during summer, I tend to use it without fail. This sounds nice, I like that they have 30 gms package too :)

I desperately need matte sunscreens. My skin gets so oily easily and normal sunscreen make me extra greasy.

ReplyDeleteVery often the water from the product gets sepearted and oozes out from the tube & this may happen with other brands too.. if the product has not expired u can still use it
