Himalaya Herbals Lip Care Range Lip Balms Review & Price in India

Hello lovelies,
Today I shall be talking an extremely must have product for me all throughout the year, yes I am talking about lip balms. You cannot have enough of them right? Strangely my lips are dry most part of the year and I definitely need a good moisturising and nourishing lip balm to prevent them from chapping and keeping them soft.Himalaya Herbals India recently launched new lip balms which are labelled under their lip care range. I have tried their Strawberry variant before but they have now revamped the packaging, introduced new variants and also improved the formula. Read on to know the details and my thoughts about them....

Price: All are priced at INR 125/- for 4.5 g. Available in stores and online

All the lip balms come closed in a cardboard packaging which is good and sanitary. The packaging mentions key ingredients and other instructions. All of the lip balms are in a chapstick format which I love. They are extremely easy to use and travel friendly too.

Strawberry Shine Lip Care:
Key ingredients:
Strawberry Seed Oil is a rich source of essential fatty acids, acts as an excellent emollient and helps maintain the skin's moisture balance.
Apricot Kernel Oil is a rich source of Vitamin E and an emollient which effectively moisturizes dry and chapped lips.

Brand claims:
Shine with Himalaya Herbals naturally glossy Strawberry Shine Lip Care. Our luxurious lip balm moisturizes your lips to keep them soft and supple.
The moisture-retention formula with skin soothers makes your lips naturally glossy while the antioxidants and natural actives care for your lips by protecting them from environmental damage.
Enriched with 100% natural color, Vitamin E and antioxidants, Strawberry Shine Lip Care is free from preservatives, petroleum jelly, mineral oil and silicone.

This lip balm is the only one which has a light reddish tint to it, unlike the others in the range. It does smell and taste like strawberry which I like.

Litchi Shine Lip Care
Key ingredients:
Litchi has antioxidants that help protect skin.
Castor Oil has soothing emollient properties that make lips soft and supple.

This lip balm again feels and tastes like litchi. I love this flavour. You may expect a color tint from it but there is isn't any. But scores full marks on the moisturization part.

Peach Shine Lip Care

Peach Kernel Oil is a good moisturizing agent that nourishes the skin and is rich in antioxidants which rejuvenate lips.

The color of the lip balm is peach in color when viewed on the tube but largely comes off clear on the lips. It is glossy and moisturizing like others and has a faint peach scent to it.

Rich Cocoa Butter Lip Care
Key ingredients:
Cocoa Butter provides intense hydration, effectively moisturizes chapped lips and makes lips soft, supple and healthy.

The lip balm has a light chocolate brown kind of color. It smells heavenly and tastes like cocoa too. If you are a chocoalate lover you will surely love the lip balm.

Natural Soft Vanilla Lip Care
Key ingredients:
Vanilla Oil reduces lip dryness and improves softness. Its anti-inflammatory properties heal chapped and damaged lips.

This lip balm is my favourite among all as it is clear and a bit glossy. It does a fab job to keep my lips soft and supple. It has vanilla bubble gum kind of taste.

My overall experience:
I have used all the lip balms and loved all of them. Except for the Strawberry variant all of them are clear and moisturizing and do not have any tint to them. The lip balms glide easily on the lips and do a great job of moisturizing the lips while keeping it soft and supple.Himalaya Herbals has been my favourite brand and I have been using their products since my teenage years. The products are made of natural ingredients is the USP of their products. I only wish they mention  their complete list of ingredients in future.

My overall rating: 4.5/5
