Lotions and lip balms are a must all year, I have reviewed their lip balms you may check the review here. Read on to know more about this body lotion in my review today...

Price: Rs.155/- for 200 ml. Available across all VLCC outlets and online here

Ingredients:
Demineralised water, Paraffinum liquidum, Ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate, Isopropyl myristate, Glycerine, Dimethicone, Potassium cetyl phosphate, Capric/Caprylic triglyceride, Titanium dioxide, Trehalose, Acrylates copolymer, Theobroma cacao (Cocoa) butter, Olea europaea (Olive) oil, Triticum vulgare (Wheat germ) extract, Aloe indica (Aloe) gel, Glyceryl monostearate, Polysorbate 80, Phenoxyethanol, Triethanolamine, Stearic acid, Acrylates/C10-30 alkyl acrylate crosspolymer, Cetyl alcohol, Lanolin, Disodium EDTA, Triclosan, Butyated hydroxytoluene, Methylparaben, Isobutylparaben, Ethylparaben, Butylparaben, Proylparaben, Perfume, CI 20285.

About the product:
Cocoa butter is one of the best natural skin conditioners. It contains fatty acids that help in hydrating the skin deeply making it look and feel soft and supple. Enriched with antioxidants this nourishing emollient fights environmental stressors and free radicals, keeping them from damaging the skin cells that trigger premature aging. Combining the benefits of Cocoa butter with conditioning qualities of olive oil and aloe gel VLCC has whipped up this beautiful hydrating body lotion that moisturizes the skin and keeps it looking young, flawless and radiant.
Benefits:
– With SPF 15
– Deep hydration
– Enriched with Cocoa butter

The body lotion comes in a white opaque bottle with a sticker printed on it and the key ingredients and instructions printed at the back of the bottle. It has a flip cap which I like and helps in dispensing the right amount of product. It is travel friendly.

The lotion is white in color and is thicker and not runny. It has the Cocoa scent as they have clearly mentioned as one of their ingredients in the lotion. Cocoa butter is meant to be extremely moisturizing and hydrating for dry skin. The lotion goes on white and needs to be blended which in no time it absorbs into the skin. It is hydrating as claimed but may not be good enough for people with extremely dry skin. Also if you have normal skin you may need to reapply because of the cold and harsh weather. I like it and it works for me but I need to reapply as it is winters and my legs tend to get the driest. It also has SPF 15 which I like. Overall I find it to be a decent body lotion.

The Good:
Easily available
Inexpensive
Nice cocoa smell
Absorbs easily into the body
Hydrating and moisturizing
Has SPF 15
Can be used by men and women too

The not so Good:
You need to reapply
Not effective to those with extremely dry skin
Contains parabens

Rating: 4/5

VLCC Cocoa Butter Hydrating Body Lotion with SPF 15 is hydrating and moisturizing and best suited to those with normal to oily skin. Do give it a try if you do not have extremely dry skin.

I hope this article was useful and beneficial to all those reading. Comment below with your inputs I love reading them. Have you tried the VLCC Cocoa Butter Hydrating Body Lotion before??
