Palmer's Skin Therapy Oil with Cocoa Butter Formula Review

Hello lovelies,
Winter has started all over India but strangely it has not been cold here in Mumbai, India. The weather is pleasent and I find that amazing because I hate extreme heat or cold. My oily skin has turned relatively dry at this time of the year and I search for products that are moisturizing & light weight on my skin and not greasy and that is when I got to try the Palmer's Skin Therapy Oil with Cocoa Butter Formula. I have been using this since last 2 weeks and pretty much impressed with it. Read on to know more about this product and my thoughts using it....

Price: Rs.670/- for 60ml. It is available in Beauty Centres across Mumbai and online here

Shelf life: 2 years.

Canola Oil, Isopropyl Myristate, Cetearyl Ethylhexanoate, Sesamum Indicum (Sesame) Seed Oil, Dimethicone, Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Seed Butter, Tocopheryl Acetate, Fragrance, Rosa Canina Seed Extract, Citronellol, Coumarin, Geraniol, Limonene, Linalool

Claims made by the brand:
  • It is non-greasy.

  • Absorbs quickly into the skin.

The Oil comes in a cardboard box with all the basic information printed on it including ingredients, how to use and its benefits. The bottle is transparent with a white flip cap. There is a small hole in it which dispenses the right amount of oil for application. The packaging is travel friendly in my opinion.

First thing the oil smells lovely and it claims to have rosehip fragrance - I just love the smell. The oil is very light weight and absorbs easily into the skin. It contains the cocoa butter formula which is apt for dry skin and  Vitamin E too. This oil can be used all over the body including your face. I do have oily to combination and being winters now this works perfect for me. This product is perfect for all skin types especially now in winters. How this oil fares for me in summers will need to check. I apply it before sleeping on my stomach yes stomach no I am not expecting nor am I married but I do have stretch marks on my stomach and legs due to constant weight gain and weight loss.It helps in reducing the appearence and does not diminish it completely. Women who are expecting are advised to use it during their pregnancy and it is 100% safe to use. This oil has evened out my skin tone, made it softer and has lightened  some marks I have had around my mouth. I am using it all over the body and I think this is one of the best oils I have tried. Apart from the price which is on higher side I do not find any con however with so many benefits the price seems justified.

The Good:
Easily available
Moisturizing
Light weight
Smells lovely
Non greasy
Helps in reducing scars, stretch marks
Perfect for dry, damaged skin & all skin types during winters
Evens the skin tone
Best for aging skin
Travel friendly

The not so Good:
On the expensive side

Rating: 4.8/5
