Oriflame Pure Color perfect Powder in Light review & swatches!

Hello everyone,
Today I shall be reviewing a pressed powder I truly love which is my second one . I have been using Oriflame products for years even before becoming a blogger. I used to buy so many things from them from which this one was a favourite product of mine. I shall be reviewing Oriflame's Pure Color perfect Powder. The shade I am using is Light. Read on to know more about this product.....

Price: Rs. 329/- for 20g product. Available online here and through any independent Oriflame consultants across India

Ingredients: not mentioned

What does the brand say:
Touch yourself up with this ulta-fine powder and give you a natural complextion. Its lightweight formulation contains the mineral zeolite to help smooth the skin. For combination/oily skin.

The pressed powder comes in a plastic packaging which is black and round in shape. It comes enclosed in a cardboard type packaging. The lid is not a click one but a screw type. Well I wish they change that as it becomes inconvenient to use while travelling. It comes with a good quality puff. The compact is ideal for travelling.

The product let me tell you first is best for those with oily to combination skin. The powder is finely milled and is smooth but still felt it to be a lil bit chalky but that is because it is matte in texture so I would not say that it is bad. The smell is really good and makes me nostalgic about the old school compact powders our mom would use in the childhood. You would get very light coverage - don't expect it to work like MAC powders. I use it over foundation or BB creams to lock it in as my skin is oily and it  gives a matte & fresh look  to my skin which I love.Hence I won't suggest it for those with dry skin. Also I wish it would have had SPF because that is a must now a days however you can use it over a cream or sunscreen with adequate SPF. Overall I like this powder would repurchase it for sure as it works for me.I am looking forward to wearing this a lot in summers.

The Good:
Easily available online
Inexpensive
Finely milled powder
Gives a matte & fresh polished look
Smells lovely
Comes with a mirror and sponge of good quality
Travel friendly

The Not so Good:
No SPF
Ingredients ??
Not meant for dry skin

Rating: 4/5

Oriflame Pure Color perfect Powder is best suited for oily to combination skin types by giving the face a fresh and matte look. I would highly recommend to to those with oily to combination skin types. Inspite of the cons it still makes it a good compact in the affordable category.

Until next time.. Take care xoxo
