Eyetex Dazzler Compact Powder in Natural Review & Swatches
Hello lovelies,
I guess most of you may be busy with Christmas preparations - so am I. Being a Christian we do celebrate Christmas every year - we decorate the Christmas tree, feast on good food & sweets and this is the best time to catch up with friends and family. I have been blogging slowly and steadily and when I feel like because I no longer want to get pressurised to do so. I need some time off to settle things in my life. Anyways today I shall be reviewing a brand called Eyetex Dazller who has a range of cosmetics, make up & skin care I have spoken on my blog before you may check it out here. On one of my trips to the Beauty Store here in Mumbai, I spotted it and picked it up. Read my experience using the Eyetex Dazzler Compact Powder in Natural...
Price: Rs. 150/- for 15g. I got it for Rs. 120/- Available readily in Beauty centre in Mumbai and most places in Chennai.
Ingredients:
What does the brand claim:
Use Eyetex Dazller compact powder for radiant and healthy looking skin. For better results use over Eyetex Dazller, Moisturizing Liquid Makeup.
- Matte and non-oily look.
- Soft application.
- Use over Eyetex Dazller Moisturizing Liquid Makeup.
- Remove with Eyetex Dazller Eye and Lip makeup remover.
The powder comes in a wide and flat pan which is copper gold in color. The compact comes enclosed in a cardboard box which has all the basic information on it. The compact comes with a mirror which I like and a normal puff but to be honest I hate the packaging - it looks cheap :/ They should make it more sleek and travel friendly.Eyetex Dazller products are made in India and are Chennai based.
The compact comes in 4 shades:
- Ivory
- Sandal
- Natural
- Blush
The shade I went for was Natural. Sometimes it gets hard to choose a shade of compact. Anyhoo the shade I selected seemed to have worked for me. The claim that they have made is that it gives a matte look and I say that is true. The powder is finely milled & smooth but I found it a bit chalky - may be that is why it gives the matte look.It smells very nice and pleasent. It comes with a lovely mirror for touchups and click locks too. The powder has color to it but does not give any coverage in my opinion. It is good for setting your liquid based foundations which are liquidy & dewy otherwise do not expect anything much. You may have to use a good moisturizer before application like I have done in the picture. There is no SPF in it which I did not like. Overall I feel this is an average powder and is ok for those with oily to combination and college girls whose skin is not problematic and do not require much coverage.
The Good:
Inexpensive
Gives a matte look
Comes with a mirror for touch ups
Smells nice
Finely milled powder
Gives a matte look
More suitable for those with oily to combination skin
Light coverage
Travel friendly although its bulky
The not so Good:
NO SPF
Packaging should be improved
Availability is an issue
Rating: 3.5/5
Eyetex Dazzler Compact Powder in Natural is a decent option if you are not looking for good coverage. It is meant for those with oily to combination skin. Do give it a try only if you want to be experimental but honestly and in my opinion there are better compacts to try in the market! I won't be repurchasing it.
I hope this review was informative as useful to you. Please comment below with your inputs. Have you tried anything from Eyetex Dazller before???
Until next time.. Take care xoxo

I have to say sorry as well because of the no SPF.
ReplyDeleteI like a powder foundation with good coverage that isn't chalky... I've had both good and bad xox
ReplyDeleteI understand needing to take breaks because of life... take the time you need for yourself ♡
I guess it is also a blotting powder. Better for summers if you want to make oily face go without caking makeup.
ReplyDeleteI like natural powders but I almost never wear powders because of my dry skin. Great review.

Average product, better to pick something with SPF I feel :) Great review as usual, shade works...looks great on you :)
ReplyDeleteFabulous review. Loved your detailed post.
ReplyDeleteThe compact sounds quite decent. And 120 bucks is very very affordable.
ReplyDeleteA very detailed review, but in my opinion I would skip it since it has no SPF Protection.
