Nivea Fruity Shine Lip Balm in Watermelon Review

Winters are approaching soon here in India but strangely it is still hot here even in November. Every season brings its own set of problems and one needs to change their skin care, hair care as well and sometimes lip balm too. There are so many lip balms in the market that come in chapstick format, tub etc but the one in the tube is my favourite as it is easy to apply as you do not have to dip your fingers in and hence stays germ free. While I have tried many lip balms in my lifetime I can easily say Nivea Lip balm is one of my favourites. I have almost tried all of their variants and the dark blue colored tube which is clear is my all time favourite. They have a bunch of fruit flavoured lip balms too and today I shall be reviewing the Nivea Fruity Shine Lip Balm in Watermelon. Read my review to know more....

The lip balm comes in a pink and white packaging. The outer body is pink and inside white. unfortunately I threw away the packaging it came in. All the instructions are mentioned on the cardboard packaging it comes in. This lip balm can be carried anywhere with you in your purse and on the go. It is travel friendly.

The lip balm is pink in color and has a faint smell of watermelon, I was expecting a better taste of watermelon. The lip balm has a pink tint to it and is glossy in nature. The tint is not very strong and one needs to swipe a lot to build up the color. However I like the end result on my lips although it does not cover the pigmentation on my lips. It makes my lips look nice and healthy and gives a pink shine and tint to it. This is perfect for everyday wear to work and even college when you do not want to wear heavy make up and also it does moisturize the lips and keeps them hydrated. The formula is unlike the original one which is much thicker. The lip balm imparts a lovely shine to the lips and makes it look fuller while keeping them moisturized.The only con I found was that one would need to reapply after every 3 hours for the moisture to be locked in the lips. I have already finished half of the lipbalm as I have been using it everyday.A must try for those who love tinted and fruity lip balm as it keeps the lips soft & supple.

Nivea Fruity Shine Lip Balm in Watermelon is a tinted lip balm which imparts a lovely pink tint to the lips while keeping it moisturized and making the lips soft & supple. It is apt for everyday use and even to colleges and office. A must try for everyone especially for tinted lip balm lovers.
