Hello girlies,
I hope you all are doing fabulous. Its Thursday already and I am excited for the weekend. Today I shall be reviewing Maybelline's newest launch called Maybelline Baby Lips Spiced up Lip Balm. There are 3 variants two of which I shall review in this post and the third one is Berry Sherbet. These were launched recently and claim to be tinted and tailor made to suit Indian skin tones. I have been using them for 2 weeks now and I am here to share my review on the same. I shall be reviewing the variants in Spicy Cinnamon and Tropical Punch. Read on to know more.....

Price: Rs.175/- for 4g each. Available across all Maybelline counters in India and online here

What does the brand claim:
Spice it up with Maybelline New York's newly launched Baby Lips Spiced Up.
Maybelline New York launches the all new Baby Lips Spiced Up, made for the Indi pop generation specially and developed to perfectly suit the range of Indian skin tones.
With every application lips are reborn and feel supple, plump, moisturized, giving you intense care. Baby Lips Spiced Up comes in delicious flavors - Spicy Cinnamon, Berry Sherbet, and Tropical Punch that guarantee to delight. Pout in confidence this summer with the best lip balm in India, Baby Lips Spiced Up.
Here’s why you’ll love it:
- Deeper shades to suit sun-kissed skin tones
- Stronger, lip-smacking flavours
- Intense 12hr care
- Enriched with SPF 20 for sun protection

The lip balms come in their usual cardboard casing. All the information and instructions are mentioned on the packaging itself. The packaging is same as their normal baby lips which they have introduced in the past. It is travel friendly and pocket friendly too.

Spicy Cinnamon:
This lip balm has a brownish tint to it like the name suggests Cinnamon. There is a hint of cinnamon flavour to it but I found the taste to be bubble gummish :D which I like. It adds the perfect n* de tint to the lips as seen in my lip swatch.

Tropical Punch:
This lip balm unlike the cinnamon variant has a pink tint to it which is absolutely nice and I love pink tinted lip balms. This one reminds of me the lip balm Strawberry which Maybelline had launched 6 to 7 years ago I believe.

Both the lips are extremely smooth to apply and moisturizing for the lips. It has SPF20 which is an added bonus and a must for every lip balm now a days. They taste nice too which I like - we all love yummy lip balms don't we? You need to reapply after 4 to 5 hrs if you have had a meal between the tint will wear off but not completely - the moisturization still remains on the lips.I am absolutely in love with these range of lip balms and have been using ever since I have got them.

The Good:
Easily available
Inexpensive
Tinted color to suit Indian skin tones
Makes lips soft and supple
Moisturizing
Smells and tastes nice
Contains SPF 20
Travel friendly and budget friendly

The not so Good:
Packaging could have been better.

Rating: 4.7/5

Maybelline Baby Lips Spiced up Lip Balm in Spicy Cinnamon & Tropical Punch are 2 amazingly moisturizing and tinted lip balms which are perfect for everyday as they add that perfect tint to the lips also are perfect for those days when you are in no mood to apply lipsticks.
