L'Oreal Paris Moist Matte Lipstick in Arabian Nights Review & Swatches

Hi everyone,
Today I will be reviewing a limited edition lipstick from L'Oreal Paris. It is from their Moist Matte Lipstick line and was released as a part of their Cannes collection 2015  limited edition make up line. It has been raining lipstick reviews on my blog. If you have been following me on my blog from the very beginning you would know I am a lipstick junkie and I used to hoard them like there is no tomorrow. This shade is one of its kind and something I have never tried before. It is L'Oreal Paris Moist Matte Lipstick in Arabian Nights.Read on to know my thoughts on it....

Price: Rs. 1099/- for 4.2g. Available online here and across L'Oreal Paris counters across India.

Ingredients:

What does the brand say:
A lipstick that delivers intense moisture while providing a velvet matte finish. Color Riche Moisture Matte’s unique formula contains jojoba oil for unrivaled moisture and comfort along with matte gel technology to create an intense matte look.Velvet matte gel technology is combined with deep pigments and Jojoba oil to give a deep color pay-off, maintaining ultimate moisture and comfort.

Packaging:
The product comes in a black cardboard case with details about the lipstick and the ingredients. The lipstick comes enclosed in a velvet packaging in order to make sure the lipstick does not get scratched easily. This lipstick is definitely one of the most good looking one I own in my collection. It has these crystals engraved on it and best part it has a swatch of the shade in the front which  makes it easy to understand what shade it is.

The lipstick is a dark vampy color something I do not own in my collection. It is an oxblood type of color but more deeper and if layered on can give a lovely gothic kind of look. The maroonish berry undertones makes it very wearable.

I was skeptical looking at it in the tube but I really liked it on me. It is not a color you would wear everyday but is definitely a bold statement kind of lipstick. It goes on very smoothly on the lips and then settles into a matte finish still not very drying. With meals in between it may fade and leave a lovely tint on the lips. You may have to reapply which is ok with me.One needs to exfoliate the lips well or it may go streaky on the lips. I love this shade it instantly brightens my complexion and makes me look polished. A must try lipstick for fair to medium skin tones.

The Good:
Easily available online
Stunning packaging with crystals
Goes on smoothly on the lips.
 Matte finish
Non drying
Long lasting
Travel friendly packaging

Not So Good:
Shade may be a personal choice
Expensive

Rating: 4.5/5

L'Oreal Paris Moist Matte Lipstick in  Arabian Nights is a dark & deep berry shade of lipstick which instantly gives you the bold matte sophisticated look. This lipstick is not for the faint hearted but in my opinion it is a must have kind of a shade in one's collection. Hence I highly recommend one to check it out.

  5. Natasha, this is actually a very good color for you... I have a few bold colors that I have for certain times, I tend to play it safe with lipstick and then get bored, I have been going outside the box a little here and there xox
