L'oreal Paris Pearl Effect Facial Foam Review

Hello girls,
Today I shall be reviewing the Loreal Paris Pearl Effect Facial Foam which I have had with me for a while now. I have used many face wash, cleansers in the past but nothing from L'oreal. I always believe in using budget friendly skin care and make products and have also advocated that you do not need a lot of money to look good or feel good. In the last one year or so I have tried many natural and organic brands and their cleansers/facewashes. This was a  change from the regular ones. Read on to know more about this face wash.....

Price:  Rs. 225/- for 50g

Ingredients:
Aqua, Palmitic acid, Myristic acid, Lauric acid, Potassium hydroxide, Stearic acid, PEG-7 Glyceryl cocoate, Sodium Cocoamphoacetate, Diodium laureth sulfosuccinate, PEG-150 Disterate, Glycerin, Ascorbyl, Glucoside, DMDM Hydantoin, Calcium pantetheine sulfonate, Limonene, Linalool, Benzyl benzoate, Propylparaben, Fragrance, Disodium butylparaben, Cetyl hydroxyethycelluouse, BHT, Butylphenyl methylpropional, Citronellol, Sodium chloride.

What does the brand say:
ACTION:
  • Pearl Perfect Relighting Whitening Facial Foam: Instantly removes make-up, cleanses skin thoroughly and eliminates all impurities.
  • Contributes to a complete Whitening effectiveness: Improving skin fairness starts with a thoroughly cleansed skin. Enriched with powerful Melanin-block, which has a proven action on Melanin Synthesis, Pearl Perfect facial foam cleans your skin perfectly.
  • Brightens the complexion day after day: Helps to clear off excess dead cells from the skin’s surface for a brighter and more luminous skin.

RESULTS:
  • Instantly cleansed from impurities, your skin is perfectly prepared for the whitening care.
  • Day after day, freed from the dullness of excess dead cells, your skin looks brighter & more luminous.

The face wash comes in a pearly off white squeeze tube with a flip cap which is grey in color. I love flip cap packaging as it makes life easy. All the information and basic instructions are printed at the back of the tube. The tube does look different than the usual ones I have seen in the market. It is travel friendly too.

The facial foam is a creamy white face wash which smells so  good. It smells floral and lovely reminds me of Pond's powder. I use a pea sized amount and work a lather/foam in my hands and then use it on my face and neck. It does a good job of cleansing the skin and did not make it feel dry and stretchy at all. About the lightening and whitening well I can't claim anything on that part. Most face washes do give a brightening effect but it may not last due to xyz reasons. All I was looking for a good cleanser and this seems to be working well in the monsoons for me now. A little amount is enough for the entire face and neck to lather up and cleanse it well. There is nothing much I can pin point about this face wash except the price as I believe cleansers should generally come within the price range of 150 bucks also it alone may not be efficient to take off intricate make up you always need to take it off the normal way and then use a face wash to wash off anything that is remaining.

The Good:
Easily available even online
Smells floral & lovely
Mild and gentle cleanser
Lathers well
Cleans face of dirt and grime
Does not dry the skin
Skin feels soft and brighter on continuous use
Will work for most skin types
Travel friendly

The not so Good:
A bit expensive

Rating: 4.5/5

L'oreal Paris Pearl Effect Facial Foam is a decent face wash which worked well for me to cleanse my skin and keep it soft and supple. The skin does feel brighter on regular use.Overall a decent option to try.

I hope this review was helpful to all those reading. Kindly leave a comment with your inputs. New bloggers/visitors may kindly leave their blog links for me to check out.

Until next time.. Take care xoxo
