#TwiceAsNice combo from Garnier Skin Naturals - Are you #TwiceAsNice ??
When one says #TwiceAsNice it means that when two people/ things come together they would create something wonderful. Just like bread without butter does not taste good or Tea without milk similarly Garnier has two products - The Neem Face wash and the Apricot scrub which go well together and would do a great job.Let us know more about them and the fun activity.
Coming to skin care, it is extremely important for me. Being a beauty blogger I realised there are some basic things one needs to do to keep the skin clear and problem free. Using a good cleanser and scrub is one of them. Just cleaning the upper layer of the skin is not enough. One needs to scrub the face once a week to get rid of the dead skin cells and also it cleanses the pores of the face from dirt and grime which helps in avoiding pimples on the face
So today is no regular post but something different. I collaborated with my lovely blogger friend Shipra of Million Dollar looks blog for this post. She is based in Delhi and I am in Mumbai. My skin is oily to combination while hers is dry.The reason why in fact she chose me because we both are beauty bloggers. When it comes to make up we both share similar interests but when it comes to make up application I am not so particular as she is, I like minimalistic make up and I am so lazy even to apply at times.... Lol but she does good make up looks and tutorials and is well versed with make up as she has been blogging for quite sometime now. I was excited to take part in the #TwiceAsNice challenge because for me it was breaking the jinx of my regular posts and products reviews I do otherwise. The combo I shall talk about is available here
Review of the Garnier Skin Naturals Purifying Face Wash:
Price: Rs. 90/- for 100g
What does the brand say:
It contains real Neem Leaf and Tree Tea Oil extracts:
1) Fights germs: Washes away problem causing germs.
2) Fights Pollution: deep cleans pores to remove impurities caused by pollution.
The face wash comes in a long slender opaque tube which is white and green in color. It has a flip cap packaging. All the information, instructions are printed at the back of the tube.
The face wash is pale green in color. It claims of neem extracts so that explains the reason why. It is neither too thick or runny and is gel based. The face wash lathers well and cleansed my oily skin of dirt and grime very well. My skin gets dirty very fast as our house faces the main road and there is a lot of pollution here. Touchwood I do not get acne frequently but lately my skin broke out with one or two pimples here and there. I would recommend this face wash to everyone especially in syummers and otherwise to those who have acne prone oily skin.
Review of the Garnier Apricot Scrub:
Price: Rs. 115/- for 100 g
The scrub comes in a white opaque tube with a flip cap for easy application. Honestly I like transparent packaging as I know how much product is remaining. It is definitely travel friendly & you can carry it along with you in your handbag.
The scrub has a sweet apricot smell that is the first thing I noted. The scrub is white in color & has very fine micro beads which I say is absolutely true. I used a small amount of it on my face after getting my face wet. I used it on my face & neck concentrating more on my face & around my mouth. After scrubbing for app. 5 minutes I washed my face and my skin instantly felt refreshed, soft & clean. I can truly say what they claim that it is meant for all skin types is true. My skin did not feel dry which is the best part I found which makes it apt for use in summers as well. Overall there is nothing I can complain about, I love it & I see myself using it this summers.
The combination of both the scrub and the face wash gives excellent results. The face wash does a good job of cleansing the skin especially from dirt and grime whereas the scrub is gentle and creamy and leaves my skin smooth and baby soft post application. The #TwiceAsNice combo is a must try and easily available in stores you must give it a try. You can Shipra's review and post here
