Essence Blush up! Powder Bush in Heat Wave Review & Swatches

Hi everyone,
Few days ago I spoke about Essence cosmetics and reviewed their long lasting lipstick Dare to Wear. You may check it out here. I really like the brand Essence and previously mentioned that I was the one to review Essence products on my blog before anyone could. Essence is a European brand and their products are really nice and of good quality. Essence is readily available in Mumbai and Delhi and even online. Today I shall be reviewing the most gorgeous shade of blush I have ever tried called Essence Blush up! Powder Bush in Heat Wave Read on to know more about it....

Price: Rs.399/- for 8g.

Ingredients:
TALC, MICA, MAGNESIUM STEARATE, DIMETHICONE, CAPRYLIC/CAPRIC TRIGLYCERIDE, CAPRYLYL GLYCOL, PHENOXYETHANOL, MAY CONTAIN: CI 19140 (YELLOW 5 LAKE), CI 45410 (RED 28 LAKE), CI 73360 (RED 30), CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499 (IRON OXIDES).

What does the brand say about the product:
colour-flow… the latest hair and fashion trend is finally reaching make-up, too! essence is bringing a cool and unique blush with a color gradient to the beauty stores. the silky, semi-translucent texture with subtle coverage gives your cheeks a gorgeous, fresh look.

The blush comes in a square shaped container with a see through transparent lid. I like square shaped pans, I have a thing for them.. Lol.. It opens and shuts well. One needs to be careful with it as it may shatter if it falls down as it is very light weight. It does not come with a mirror or a brush so one would need to invest in a nice blush brush.

The first time I looked at the blush I was in love ♥ The colors look so pretty. It is an ombre blush (two toned). One side is a orange color and the other side a lovely pink shade. You can swirl the brush and use a combination of both the shades or you can use either sides. I found the blush well pigmented - a little goes a long way. Be careful not to overapply. I did not find any chunky shimmer or glitter in it. It was quite smooth and easy to blend on the cheeks. The blush will last 4 to 5 hours or even more depending on the humidity as it is summers already in India . It lasted well for me so I have no complains at all. This shade should suit most skin types in my opinion. There is a pink variant too in this line of blushes. I would say this blush is a perfect bet for summers you must try it.

The Good:
Easily available in metro cities.
Inexpensive
No shimmer
Satin finish
Easy to blend
Decently pigmented
Good lasting power
Transparent packaging makes it easy to locate color
Will suit all skin types

The not so Good:
Need to be careful with blush while travelling

Rating: 4.5/5

Essence Blush up! Powder Bush in Heat Wave is a super gorgeous ombre blush which looks so cute in the pan and the cheeks as well. This is the perfect summer blush, hence I recommend everyone to try it for sure.

P.S: The product was sent to me by the brand for consideration but that does not affect my honest opinion of the product.
