How I De-stress - My Way

Hi everyone,
Stress is a  part & parcel of my everyday life. I am a full time beauty blogger currently and if you are one too you would know how stressful life can be. Also being self employed I never get any ME time for myself. Right now honestly I am totally under stress as I am dealing with so many things at the moment. I work for more than 12 hours a day and most of the time in front of the computer if not then mobile phone??? Sounds like you right??  While I wish to go on a holiday soon there are some things I would do to unwind myself because like machines our body does need rest too - the physical part and mentally is to relax and do something which makes you feel good.



So what are the 5 ways in which I De- Stress and #SlowDownZindagi ??  They are as follows:
1. Listen to music:
Believe it or not Music is such a stress reliever. I listen to it every single day even while doing my daily blogging work. While everyone's taste of music may be different I love listening to hip hop and dance numbers something which makes you feel like dancing and also groove on your seats if you are working on your computer/laptop. Ideally you could listen to songs which are soothing to the mind like instrumental music say flute or santoor. 



2. Pamper your skin:
Now who does not like beautiful skin which is problem free and devoid of any skin problems. While most of us beauty bloggers do get products to try out which in turn is a way of pampering our skin one needs to make special time for the skin . Some examples could be - Scrubbing your face with a yummy scrub, Applying a face pack while soaking your feet in a  lukewarm water bucket feels like heaven too. Hence pampering your skin and making some time for it is a sure shot way to de stress.



3. Watch your favourite movies:
I used to be a big movie buff in my teens and early 20's but lately due to lack of time and the fact that I handle my own blog and all its activities never gives me the time to catch up on any movies. Old, new, inspirational and comedy movies are some you should definitely go for . So grab a tub of pop corn, your favourite drink and you are good to go.



4. Exercise, Walk or join a Gym:
Gym and exercising is not my kind of thing. I don't know why but I get scared to look at those equipments but going for a brisk walk in the park is my type of de - stressing activity. I used to be very regular with my walks but then there was a break in between due to lack of time but I am back again this time. Walking makes me feel good and I feel lighter not to forget that it makes me feel happy and stress free for sometime.



5. Applying make up:
May sound silly to someone but applying a little bit of make up relieves stress for me ;) Being a beauty blogger I am constantly surrounded by make up goodies. That red or fuschia lipstick could totally make you feel so good and feeling good is no stress at all in my opinion. It is the whole procedure of applying make up and feeling good makes it a stress reliever.



A good head massage with your favourite hair oil which smells good is a sure shot way to de stress.While browsing through the newspaper I did notice the Parachute Advansed Aromatherapy Oil which I was excited to know about hence I am going to try a new quick way to De-stress & #SlowDownZindagi using Parachute Advansed Aromatherapy Oil in association with BlogAdda

  9. Yes, yes. Working in front of the computer is a killer. In fact my day started with rewriting all my previous horrendous post and I am still at the computer. I need to de-stress too. Will be nice to pamper myself.

  12. this happens to each one of us. For me the best stress therapy is a vacation or even a dinner date or cooking, yes i love spending time alone in my kitchen :)

  15. These are fabulous tips to de-stress Natasha. I usually de-stress by taking a long shower and then curling up in bed watching a comedy. This is a sure shot way to help me relax and #SlowDownZindagi.

    For destressing tips for me are:-
    When stress enters in your life then your mind always first left you alone and a powerful negative thought's ring make a circle around you.
    We will rush to those things which gives us peace or keep you in calm.
    My colourful threads always give me peace of mind and directed me towards positive thing and creates a peaceful ring around me.
    Yes, I am talking about embroidery I love to do this as my hobby, my passion and destressing activity.

    My second option to destress the life is capturing birds in my camera. Bird watching and taking pictures of them always my favorite destressing activity.
