Eeshha Herbals Matte Sun Block with SPF 40 - UV Defense Review
Hi everyone,
I hope you all had a wonderful Holi celebration with your friends and family.Holi is the festival of
colors where we apply powder color to our near and dear ones. It also
symbolises that we forgive our enemies and become friends with them. Well I
don't know if that is possible for me ;) but I like the sentiments behind it ☺ Anyhow coming to today's review if you remember I had reviewed a Anti Pollution Face Wash from Eeshha Herbals here and most of you liked it as well. Today I shall be reviewing another product from their line which is called Eeshha Herbals Matte Sun Block with SPF 40 which contains apple & raspberry extracts. Read on to know more......
Ingredients & description:
Raspberry extract, Apple extract, Mulberry Extract, Avobenzone, Dimethicon, MicronizedTio2, Allantoin, Evermet, TinosobM, VitaminB3, Trehalose
Price: Rs.255/- for 60ml. Available here at a discount for Rs.150/-
What does the brand say about the product:
This ultra-light matte formulation spreads smoothly and contains mineral powders and herbal extracts to maintain a pore-free and even toned complexion. An oil-free daily protector with UVA/UVB Broad Spectrum Protection. Protects against 3 major causes of skin cell damage: UV Rays, oxidation and over production of sebum.
The Sun Block comes in a muted yellow packaging with a flip cap. All the ingredients are mentioned at the back of the tube. It comes sealed at the tip which makes you assured that noone has used it. The packaging is travel friendly.
Before I share my experience I would like to mention that I have oily to combination skin and since years I have been hunting for a natural and herbal sun block which does not make my skin look like a frying pan. And I am happy to say that I found one. The sun block is tinted and very reminiscent to BB creams. It claims to contain apple & raspberry extracts. The smell is mild and nice nothing overpowering or that would give you a headache.
The sun block is almost matte in finish. I found it a bit dewy but that does not mean it made my skin look oily. In fact my skin looked fresh and surprisingly it evened my skin tone. Also the pores on my cheeks looked a bit less than normal. It has SPF 40 (PA +++) which is absolutely perfect for summer months. This one works well and helps in protecting your skin from harmful UV rays. Even if you are at home a sunscreen is a must now a days. Since I work from home this is perfect for me and even when I go out. I apply it before I apply make up. I think its perfect for me and I like it more because it is natural. It did not cause me any skin irritation or breakout. Hence I like this sun block..
The Good:
Easily available online.
Inexpensive
It is tinted.
Has a dewy yet matte finish
Does a great job of protecting the skin from UV rays
Minimized the pores on my face.
Evens skin tone
SPF 40 (PA +++) perfect for summers.
100% herbal & natural
Did not cause breakouts
Travel friendly packaging
The not so Good:
May be drying for those with dry skin beauties but will work absolutely fine in summers

Rating: 4.3/5
.
Eeshha Herbals Matte Sun Block with SPF 40 works so well for my oily to combination skin. Since I do not use make up on a regular basis this one is perfect for me as it not only protects me from UV rays but evens out my skin tones. I highly recommend this product to everyone especially oily skin beauties. This sun block is perfect for summers in my opinion.

Until next time.... Happy Friday xoxo
P.S: The product was sent by the brand for consideration but that does not affect my honest opinion about the product.
