Eeshha Herbals Anti Pollution Face Wash Review

Hi everyone,
Hope you all had a lovely weekend.Ours was a cloudy and chilly weekend as it rained the last weekend and the weather has turned so chilly. Rains at this time of the year - so unexpected. Well I guess blame it on global warming!! Today I shall be reviewing a facewash from a brand I recently got to know and which has been creating a buzz in the beauty blogging world. I shall be reviewing the Eeshha Herbals Anti Pollution Face Wash meant for all skin types in my post today. Read on to know more....

Price: Rs. 70/- for 50 ml and Rs. 125/- for 100ml. You can get it here

Ingredients: Purified Water, Sodium Lauryl Ether Sulphate, Coco Amido Propyl Betaine, Cocodiethanol Amide, Glycerin, Sodium Chloride, Hydropropyltrimonium Honey, Polyamide - 2, Phenoxyethanol, Methyl Paraben, Propyl Paraben, Butyl Paraben, Ethyl Parabens,Methoxy Cinnamidopropyl Hydroxysultaine, Carbomer,  Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Algae Extract, Saccharide isomerate, Grape fruit oil, Orange oil, Ci 19140, Ci 42090

What does the brand say about this product:
Anti Pollution Face Wash prepares the skin against pollution, dirt throughout the day. Contains powerful anti-oxidants. They effectively neutralize the harmful effects of free radicals by deep cleansing and rehydrating facial skin. White Tea and extracts are having richest source of anti oxidants thus preventing premature wrinkles and skin pigmentation.

A lit trivia about Algae:
Algae are very simple, chlorophyll-containing organisms in a family that includes more than 20,000 different known species. In cosmetics, algae act as thickening agents, water-binding agents, and antioxidants hydrate skin. Algae makes a great natural moisturizer that improves skin’s barrier function and helps it retain water.”

The face wash comes  in a dull blue transparent packaging hence the product is easily visible from the outside which I like. All the information including ingredients is printed on the tube itself. It has a flip cap which I love - it makes life easy. The tube does not leak or create a mess hence it is travel friendly.

The face wash has a transparent gel like consistency with blue beads in it. The blue beads act as mild exfoliants and are not harsh on the skin. The face wash smells more citrusy and orangey due to the presence of orange oil in it. The face wash is neither too thick nor thin. The key ingredient is orange oil and algae extract which as I mentioned above is meant to keep the skin hydrated and not let it dry. The face wash lathers well and cleanses the face well of all dirt & grime. I did not find my skin to be drying but I do feel that this face wash may not be apt for winters as the skin tends to get very dry.  I follow the face wash with a moisturizer. Those with dry skin may need a more moisturizing face wash. This one will work for most skin types in summers as the skin tends to get oily then but in winters may be not. I think it is decent and works well for my skin.

The Good:
Easily available online on all major shopping websites
Gel like consistency - not too thick or thin.
Contains exfoliating beads which are not harsh on skin.
Beads act as mild exfoliants.
Lathers well
Smells citrusy and mild
Cleanses the face well without drying it.
Contains algae extracts which are meant to be hydrating.
Travel friendly packaging.

The not so Good:
Not apt for those with dry skin.
Parabens - for a herbal brand parabens should be ruled out.

Rating: 4/5

Eeshha Herbals Anti Pollution Face Wash  is a perfect face wash for summers when the skin tends to get greasy and is easily affected by pollution. It does cleanse my skin well without drying it. I am so looking forward to using it in the summers. Hence I highly recommend you to try this face wash in summers.

Until next time.. Have a great week ahead xoxo

P.S: The product has been sent by the brand for consideration but that does not affect my honest opinion of the product**
