Puriso Handcrafted Soap in Rustic Grass Review

Disclaimer: The handmade soaps category has been discontinued by the brand which means the product is no longer being manufactured and available. This is an old review, thank you

Hey everyone,
Me and my soap reviews they never end right ;) but I am here to always tell you about natural, handmade & yummy looking soaps. The soap review I shall be doing is from the brand called Puriso. If you follow me on Instagram I had shared a picture there about the 3 soaps  had received from them. They are based in Mumbai and have the most stunning looking collection of handcrated soaps. The one I shall review today is called Puriso Handcrafted soap in Rustic Grass. Read on to know more...

Price: Rs.300/- for 150 g.
Shelf life: 12 months from date of manufacturing.

Note: This soap was manufactured in 2014 & the price was 250 then fr 120 g & now it is Rs. 300 for 150g

Ingredients & what the brand has to say about this soap:
Rustic fragrance of lemongrass with a hint of mint. The fragrance almost leaves you feeling therapeutic and calm in a warm bath. It is rich in glycerine, 100% Vegan and not tested on animals. It is enriched with goodness of natural ingredients like cocoa butter, aloevera gel, vitamin E oil & watermelon seed oil. Smells holy!! Smells rustic!!

The soap comes in a transparent plastic box. The soap is neatly wrapped so that the soap does not loose its smell & all the lovely goodness it has to offer. The shelf life is interestingly 12 months from the date of manufacturing. It is travel friendly and so gift friendly too. Who would hate a good looking soap like this ;)

The soap first thing first looks like  a piece of art. I mean look at it. When I saw the soaps and especially this one I was pretty awed!!! as I have not used anything like that before. It is two toned in color - yellow at the top and green at the bottom with tiny white swirls of soap visible inside which are white in color. Most of the soap brands I tried were very simple in their packaging & looks. The soap is quite huge & rectangular shaped. One soap will easily last 12 - 15 days if used once for a bath during the day. It is not slippery and does not fall off from the hand as glycerin soaps tend to do that. It lathers really wear & comes of well too without leaving any dry or sticky feeling on the body. It is very moisturizing due to the presence of glycerine and won't tend to dry the skin at all. The fragrance is super amazing as it contains lemon grass oil & mint both of which are known to have refreshing properties. The smell lingers for quite sometime but that is ok as it is free of chemicals and cruelty free is something which I always love. This soap will also be ideal for summers. I love this soap already ♥

The Good:
Easily available online.
Stunning looking soap.
Contains goodness of mint, lemon grass & glycerine.
Refreshing smell & feel post bath.
Lathers well.
Does not dry the skin.
Very moisturizing.
Decent packaging.
Ideal gifting option.
Cruelty & Chemical Free
Travel friendly.

The not so Good:
Pricey for some

Rating: 4.5/5

Puriso Handcrafted  Soap in Rustic Grass is a good looking soap with amazing smell & natural properties. Handmade soaps are the best as they are preservative free and also amazing for the skin. I see myself using this summers a lot. Hence I recommend this soap & this brand to everyone.
