Oriflame's - The ONE Colour Unlimited Lipstick in Always Cranberry & Mocha Intensity Review & Swatches

Hi everyone,
I am sure you may have read my last post where I did a first impression of Oriflame's - The ONE Colour Unlimited Lipsticks. Today I shall be reviewing Always Cranberry & Mocha Intensity for you all. Oriflame's the One collection range was launched in October. You can read more about the event here.I also did a first impression about the whole lipstick collection which you can read here. I was excited to receive their entire range to try on. If you wish to know more about this lipstick. Keep on reading to know more...

Ingredients:

Price: Rs. 499/- for 1.7g but available at an introductory offer of Rs.325/- this month. It can be purchased through any Oriflame consultant across India.

What does the brand say about these lipsticks:
  • 10 hours of super colour & comfort with long wear lipstick. Finally !! A lipstick that lasts as long as you can.
  • Lip Grip Technology fastens lipstick to lips with anti smudge ingredients so colour stays put.. comfortably
  • Light weight texture enriched with a blend of oils & butters for long lasting comfort & moisture

The lipstick comes in a cardboard box packaging which has all the necessary information including the ingredients list. The body of the lipstick is slim and is black in color. It is light weight and tiny and would fit in any handbag or clutch as well. The cap shuts well with a click sound which  makes it perfect for you to carry it while travelling in your make up bag.I love the packaging a lot it does not look cheap at all.

My thoughts on Always Cranberry:
The shade is best described as a cranberry color which is red and pink mixed together which is on a much subtle level. I love Cranberry color as it makes it a perfect everyday shade for work , nothing Over the Top (OTT). I did not see  much shimmer in this one but there is definitely some but so fine that it is not visible unless looked closely and it won't irritate the lips as well. The lipstick glides on smoothly on the lips which I love. I found it very moisturizing. Also it tastes and smells fruity.

Rating: 4.5/5

My thoughts on Mocha Intensity:
The shade Mocha is best described as that from the brown family. In India we would call it a Coffee brown color. Most people in India except the older generation shun away from Brown shades. All the bright lipsticks are in trend right now. However this shade is more wearable as it has a hint of pink to it . I also noticed shimmer in it which is golden in color and not chunky at all so you won't feel uncomfortable on the lips. This lipstick shade would be a good transition from the normal shades you would go for.

Rating: 4.2/5

Both the lipsticks glide well and cover the pigmentation on the lips. You would need to go over more than once to build the desired intensity. They are moisturizing and well pigmented. The lasting power is very good also they smell and taste well. Hence I would recommend both the shades for daily wear especially the cranberry one as it will suit everyone.

The Good:
Easily available through Oriflame representative.
Nice pigmentation.
Classy & Attractive packaging
Affordable for a long lasting lipstick.
8 shades to choose from.
Moisturizing & comfortable on the lips.
Long lasting.

The not so Good:
May be pricey for some.
Contains parabens.

Rating: 4.5/5

Oriflame's - The ONE Colour Unlimited Lipstick in Always Cranberry & Mocha Intensity are 2 wearable shades for everyday wear. They are decently pigmented and comfortable on the lips. You should definitely grab a shade as it is on an introductory offer.
