Etude Twin Cake Face Powder Review & Swatches
Hi everyone,
I hope you all have an exciting weekend. I am really happy as I got invited for the Livon event. Today I shall be reviewing the Etude Twin Cake Face Powder which I had got last year on my trip to Beauty Centre in Mumbai. Etude as far as I know is a Korean brand and their original products are not easily available here. There are many brands like VOV, Miss Claire, ADS and Etude which are sold here in Mumbai. Anyhow I shall be sharing my experience with this product. Read on to know more...
Ingredients: Not mentioned :/
Price: Rs. 120/- for 14g.
The face powder came in a silver cardboard box packaging. The container is round in shape and comes with a transparent screw cap lid. It comes with a powder puff sealed in a plastic packaging which I found amazing and of good quality. I wish it came with a mirror and a click lock packaging though. It is however travel friendly as I have carried it many times in my purse.
The powder comes in 5 shades: (see pic below)
( I have just used the powder on my face no other face make up)
The shade I chose after much deliberation was RE -3 which was Medium Rose which I felt later I should have gone for a lighter shade. But when I started using it I found the shade going well with my skin tone. It gives a decent coverage can be used on its own and wet also which I would not prefer and would be happy using it this way. The powder is quite smooth in textury and not gritty and blends well into my skin. I use it over a BB cream or a foundation and it works well that way. The staying power is average of course in humid weather you would have to touch up other than it is decent. There is no mirror which I wish it had. Also the ingredient list is missing which makes me wary to try this product again, as also it is not the original etude however I liked how it worked on me.
The Good:
Inexpensive.
5 shades to choose from.
Comes with a puff.
Smooth texture.
Medium coverage.
Can be used wet and dry.
Decent lasting power.
Smells nice
The not so Good:
No ingredients mentioned.
No mirror and click lock packaging.
Availability is a problem
Rating: 3.8/5
Etude Twin Cake Face Powder gives medium coverage, smells nice and comes in 5 shades. I like the texture of the powder but no ingredients would stop me to buy it again.
