Stars Cosmetics Cream Rouge Blusher in no 6 Review & Swatches

Hi everyone,
Hope you all had a great weekend. Monday again.. Duhh!! So what can brighten your day on a Monday. For me it would be a bright lipstick or in today's case may be a blush. Today I shall be reviewing the Stars Cosmetics Cream Rouge Blusher in no 6. Stars cosmetics is a lesser and not so popular brand but I was aware of this brand even when it was not available online.Let us find out more about this cream blush in my review today...

Price: Rs.150/- Available on Jabong and Snapdeal.

Quantity: 8gms

The cream blush comes in their signature packaging of a round tub with a clear transparent lid on it which helps you notice the shade easily. Basic information is mentioned at the back but no ingredients :/ I got it quite sometime ago and the quality and the texture is still the same. The oil has not seperated which is good as it becomes travel friendly. Also it does not come with a brush so you would need to have one.

The cream blush has a floral smell and the color is somewhere between a fuschia and a purply pink. You just need a touch on your cheeks and the rest you would have to blend. There is hardly any shimmer in it but it is of a metallic texture. When blended it gives a nice glow/sheen to the face. I am not a fan of cream blushes as I have oily to combination skin. But I liked this one as it gave me a good flush on  my cheeks.

You can set it with a translucent powder or a blush in powder form of the same color. It blends well. Since it is quite bright it will last almost all day. A stipple brush is ideal for spreading and blending the brush across the cheeks. I tried to find this shade online but was not able to locate it. It is easily available across all beauty centres in Mumbai. I only wish the ingredients were mentioned too. This shade will suit all skin types- using a minimal amount and blending is key for this cream blush.

The Good:
Available online and in stores.
Inexpensive.
Decent packaging with screw cap lid.
Does not leak or seperate.
Blends well.
Very less shimmer- metallic finish.
Gives a nice flush of color to cheeks.
Smells floral
Long lasting.

The not so Good:
No ingredients mentioned.
Lesser selection of shades.
Does not come with a brush.

Rating: 4/5

Stars Cosmetics Cream Rouge Blusher in no 6 is a decent option for a cream blush which can be used along with a powder or on its own in the upcoming winter season by all skin types as the skin tends to get dry. Hence I recommend the shade to all.

I hope this review was informative and helpful to all those reading. Please leave a comment with your inputs and new bloggers may leave their blog links for me to check out.

Until next time.. Happy Monday xoxo

  4. I seldom use blusher but when I do, I like something like this one, just a light shimmer and natural look. Usually I realised that creamy blushers does not come with a brush. Not sure if I got it right but from the few I bought before, it was obvious.
