Hi everyone,
I hope you all are having a great week so far. If you are a regular reader and follower of my blog you would know I spoke about the Oriflame November launches 2014 from the One Collection on my blog which is primarily Pressed powder and the colour cream eyeshadows. I have reviewed the first 2 shades in Rose Gold and Golden Brown on my blog. Today I shall be talking about the next 2 shades. I will be talking about Oriflame's The One Colour Impact Eyeshadow in Olive Green & Indigo on my blog. Read on to know more...

Oriflame's the One collection range of make up is divided into 3 categories:
  • Everyday Beauty
  • High Impact
  • Long Wear

What does Oriflame say about this product:
  • Easy to apply and blend for even results.
  • Cream to powder like texture - goes on creamy and transforms to a powder for colour intensity
  • Supreme pigment pay off
  • Pearly to matte shades with a velvetty sheen.

The eye shadows come in a plastic container and a screw cap. The body is  transparent with a maroon pink cap. Yayy for plastic containers as most companies make glass jars which if dropped may be problematic. It comes with basic instructions, price and expiry date. They are small and cute and will fit in any make up pouches and could be easily carried while travelling.

Olive Green:
The Olive Color is usually a mixture of green and yellow which is a yellowish green color. This is a beautiful green color with hint of yellow and there is some finely milled golden sheen to it - yes sheen not chunky shimmer or glitter which is like yayy. In fact it looks a bit metallic but not that much that you cannot pull it off.  It goes on smooth on the eye lids and is decently pigmented. You may need to go over twice for it to show up on the eye lids, I would sat decently pigmented. This is definitely a beautiful shade and will suit all skin tones.

Deep Indigo:
Indigo is a blend of blue and purple and this eye shadow is no less.It is a mixture of purple and blue more leaning towards the blue side. I would call it a midnight blue shade. There is sheen to it but no shimmer which makes it metallic in nature. Unlike the Olive Green I had to go over my eye lids many times as it was not that pigmented.Hence you  need to pack it on or use a powder eye shadow over it. I would also suggest using it over a black eye liner smudged on the eye lids. That way the intensity would show even more. I love this shade nonetheless wish it was more pigmented.

The eye shadows are light weight in texture and easy to blend. You can lightly dab them for a day look or pack it on for more intensity for an evening look. Both the shades are metallic in nature but nothing Over the Top. The eye shadows will last all day and even more if you may use an eye primer first or a powder eye shadow over it in the same color. For the introductory price of Rs.299/- you must stock up all of them.

The Good:
6 shades to choose from
Cream to powder finish.
Long lasting.
Blends well.
Do not crease.
Comes in a plastic jar - no breakage problem
Travel friendly.

The not so Good:
Indigo shade needs to be packed on for intensity.
Contains parabens.

Rating for Olive Green: 4.5/5
Rating for Deep Indigo: 4/5

Oriflame's The One Colour Impact Eyeshadow in Olive Green & Deep Indigo are 2 beautiful shades which are a must have for any eye shadow lover. The texture, the formula and the price makes it a winner. Do grab them from your local Oriflame representative today.
