Oriflame Colour Drop Lipstick in Melting Pink - Review and Swatches
Hope you all are having a great weekend especially my blogger friends abroad who celebrated Halloween's Day yesterday. Although we do not celebrate it in India but lately we do enjoy celebrating it. So in the last few weeks you may have heard about me talking of Oriflame's latest - The One collection- the products of which I am enjoying at the moment. There is more to come in the following months so stay tuned for the same. Today I shall be reviewing a lipstick from their regular line of Colour Drops collection called Melting Pink. Read on to know my thoughts on it..
What does Oriflame say about the lisptick:
Endless perfection, intense colour and high shine gloss with the world's first lipstick to follow the curves of a woman's lips. With Dew Drop Complex for intense moisture.
Price: Rs. 399/- for 2g. Available on discount for Rs.279/- this month
The lipstick comes in a cardboard box with basic instructions and ingredients printed on it. The expiry date is also mentioned on the tube which is good as we tend to throw the box out and keep the bullet. The lipstick bullet is sleek and hot pink in color. It is very sleek looking. I totally adore the packaging very stylish indeed. It also has a flat bottom so the lipstick can stand looking pretty on your dressing table ;) The cap click locks and is sturdy and travel friendly. Overall I love the packaging.
The lipstick is a bright pink color which in fact is no too bright nor too muted just perfect the way I like it which makes it very appropriate for day time office wear. You need to swipe more than once for the desired color as it is glossy in nature. The lipstick does not have any shimmer and is glossy. It reminds me of Revlon Lip Butters which were sold sometime back in India but this one is a much cheaper version especially when bought on sale. They glide smoothly on the lips and is very moisturizing. It makes my lips soft but of course it cannot replace a lip balm and you must exfoliate your lips well before application. The longevity is surprisingly good and stayed on my lips even after having a meal in between. Even after it fades it leaves a lovely pink tint on the lips. The only issue one may face with this lipstick that it has a tendency to melt other than I love this lipstick especially since winters are almost here.
Easily available through any Oriflame representative.
Glossy and moisturizing.
Nice color pay off.
Sleek and stylish packaging.
Does not accentuate fine line on lips.
Lasting power is good.
Smells like candy.
The not so Good:
You need to swipe more than once for desired opaqueness.
Tendency to melt.
Oriflame Colour Drop Lipstick in Melting Pink is a super pretty pink lipstick which is glossy in nature, does not contain shimmer, smells nice and whose lasting power is good. It will suit most skin tones in my opinion. Hence I recommend this lipstick to all especially now when winter is almost here.
