Fuschia Handmade Lip Balm in Peach Plush Review

Hi everyone,
It is Friday Yayy.. Nothing makes us more happy than the weekend right? The winters are almost here in Mumbai, India but it has not been cold as yet. Its time to stock up on some skin care goodies and more so lip balms as the winters are the worst time for the lips. They do tend to get dry and chapped.  I had reviewed a lip balm from Fuschia in Tropical Alphonso here. Today I shall be talking about their handmade lip balm in Peach Plush. Read on to know more...

Their lip balms are available in the following variants:

  • Tropical Alphonso
  • Plush Peach
  • Choco Butter
  • Pomegranate Pink
  • Black Currant

The lip balm comes in small tub container with a screw lid which is white in color. The lip balm reached me in a cute gift type pouch with 2 small leaflets one with the ingredients and other about the brand. It does nt leak or melt and I can vouch for that because it was so hot in Mumbai in October but this did not melt on me. Simple packaging no fuss.

The lip balm is orangey and peachy color in the tub. But when applied on the lips goes on clear. I love that it has a mixture of so many oils which sets it apart from the other lip balms you may have used. It is light weight and non sticky or greasy. It makes the  lips soft and supple and I do not feel any heaviness on the lips. Unlike the other lip balm which had a bitter flavour due to the presence of castor oil this one does not have. Now it says peach but the flavour it smells and tastes like bubble gum :D which I actually have no problem but ideally it should have smelled like Peach right? The best part about this lip balm is that it can be used by men too and on the elbows and hands too but I honestly would prefer using it as a lip balm only. The only issue I have is with the tub packaging as you need to dip your finger to get the product on your lips.  I wish they come up with a stick format in future.

The Good:
Hydrating and moisturizing.
Smells & tastes like bubblegum
Paraben free and cruelty free.
Handmade - no chemicals.
Does not contain any petroleum base.
No color.'
Can be used by men too.
Can be used on any part of the body.
Travel friendly.

The not so Good:
Pricey compared to other lip balms in the market.
Tub packaging

Rating:4.2/5

Fuschia Handmade Lip Balm in Peach Blush is a non sticky and moisturizing lip balm which makes your lips soft and supple. It can be used by men too. For the fact that is is 100% organic and chemical free it is a must try for all.

  1. Great review! I agree the tub packaging is less desired for me as well. I do adore the scent of peach, though. :) T. http://tickledpinkwoman.blogspot.com

  7. Wow, it has great ingredients and awesome color. Too bad it does not look like that on the lips. The bubblegum smell must be nice too although I agree that it should smell like peach. I would love too try it. One more time you did a great review. Kisses!

  14. Great review as always, Nats!!! <3 And as much as I loveee such balms, the thing about me is I try to avoid tub balms as far as possible! Had a huge mishap once...Will tell you about it some other time! It ended up staining my white dress...AND IT WAS A RED TINTED BALM! You can just imagine what a sight it must have been! :p So..for now, until i gather my courage, a tube balm ftw! :p
