Their lip balms are available in the following variants:

  • Tropical Alphonso
  • Plush Peach
  • Choco Butter
  • Pomegranate Pink
  • Black Currant

The lip balm comes in a small tub packaging which is transparent and hence you can easily see the lip balm from outside. The lid is a screw cap which opens and shuts well and stays put hence I would say it is travel friendly. Each lip balm comes with a small paper which does list the ingredients in detail.

My lips have been quite dry lately and I was looking for a good lip balm which is not too goeey or sticky and which hydrates well. So when I was sent this lip balm I was excited to try it as I am all in for cruelty free and handmade lip balms. My lips gets dry most part of the year. Also they get chapped easily. This lip balm contains different types of oils more prominent is olive oil, castor oil and jojoba oil. The lip balm is colorless and smells like mango.. Yum yum but it does not taste exactly like mango as it has mango flavor (essence) also castor and jojoba oil. Well it is handmade and cruelty free, non allergic, free of parabens and petroleum base which is good.

The only con I find is that I have to use my fingers to apply it which is a pain if I am not at home because I need to grab a tissue each time I use it. You need to apply after every few hours in order to keep the lips hydrated which is with most lip balms now a days and I am ok with it. It mentions that it can  be used on any part of the body but I am ok with the lips only. However I tried it on my hands and found it good as it was not sticky at all. Since it is colorless it can be used under or over your lipsticks. I did not notice any white cast on the lips which is good and is quite moisturizing. The best part is that it mentions can be used by men too :D

The Good:
Hydrating and moisturizing.
Smells yummy like mango
Paraben free and cruelty free.
Handmade - no chemicals.
Does not contain any petroleum base.
No color.'
Can be used by men too.
Can be used on any part of the body.
Travel friendly.

The not so Good:
Pricey but looking at the ingredients I can understand why.
Tub packaging is a bit unhygienic for some. I wish they come up with a stick format.
Wish it tasted exactly like mango ;)
Only available online which is not a con according to me though

Rating: 4/5

Fuschia Handmade Lip Balm in Tropical Alphonso is a good moisturizing and hydrating lip balm which can be used by men as well as women and not only on the lips but on any part of the body like hands, elbows and knees too. I recommend everyone to try this handmade and cruelty free lip balm. It is available on Flipkart and Snapdeal too, so do have a look.

  11. I have dry lips too, so I like this lip balm, especially for the various fruity variants. I have to agree with you, prefer balms in tube and with a twist.
