Lissome Natural Grace Lipcolor in Berry Review and Swatches

Hope you all had a great weekend. Mine was good as I was not at home and did attend a event by Shiseido called the Za Beauty School where i got to meet the beauty expert of Shiseido from Japan called Megumi Mitsui. It was an interactive session where we learnt some skin care tips plus got to know of their product range. Anyhoo coming to today's review I shall be reviewing the Lissome Natural Grace Lip Color in Berry. This brand has been in existence since 1999 and used to advertise their products as well. This brand is easily available in Delhi and Mumbai as far as I know. So what I think of this lipstick let us find out  more about it in my review...

Price: Rs.99/- for 4.3ml

The lipstick has a very simple packaging. The bullet is made of plastic and hot pink in color and has a golden band to it.The bullet easily goes up and down and the cap shuts ok with without the click sound. The shade name is at the bottom on a sticker. The bullet could get loose over time as it does not click lock. However I carried it along and never had a problem as such. In short cannot expect much in the packaging department for that price.

The lipstick is a hot pink fuschia shade - a blue based bright pink color. It does not contain any shimmer which is like Yayy.. The lipstick is very moisturizing and glides smoothly on the lips. The pigmentation is good and the color pay off good. One swipe is enough to show up on the lips. However I like my lipstick to show up properly hence I do swipe it a couple of times like shown in the lip swatch. Since it is creamy it may go outside the lips. I usually prefer matte to semi matte lipsticks now a days as they are long lasting and do not go outside the lips. I sometimes use a looser powder to dab on my lips to get the matte effect and to get rid of the extra glossiness do apply a loose powder on my lips. Since it is creamy it wears off easily but leaves a nice pink stain on the lips. It smells perfumy so those with sensitive noses may not like it. Overall I love this shade because bright lipsticks are my favourite and cannot expect a lot for the price.

Easily available in stores.

Inexpensive.

Creamy shade.

Moisturizing.

Does not contain shimmer.

Decent packaging.

The not so Good:

Some products are available online not their lipsticks.

The packaging can be improved upon.

Wish it was more matte.

Ingredients list missing.

Those with sensitive noses may find it a bit over powering.

For the price its a must try who like experimenting with different brands.I think this one of their nicest shades from the collection and a must try for those who like bright lipsticks. Hence I recommend it.
