Dr. Batra's Face Wash enriched with Tea Tree Oil Review

Hey everyone,
Thank God its Friday. Last weekend was pretty boring so did this whole week. I was feeling moody and lethargic. Well it happens with everyone I guess once in a while when you get bored of doing the same stuff everyday.Hopefully this one would be good ;) Anyhow I hope you all have a great weekend too. Today I shall be reviewing a face wash called Dr. Batra's Face Wash enriched with Tea Tree Oil meant for all skin types. Let us find out more about this product in my review...

Price: Rs. 175/- for 100g.You can check out the product here.

Shelf life: 36 months from manufacturing date.

Ingredients:

About Dr. Batra's :
Founded in 1982 by Dr. Mukesh Batra, Dr. Batra's Positive Health Clinic has come a long way today with 149 clinics spread across 76 cities in India, Dubai and UK. They provide state of the art services to more than half a million people all over the world, the numbers growing steadily.

On the other hand, Dr. Batra's positive health products has been churning out health products since 2001 and their vast range has steadily gained popularity for excellent quality and a natural base. You can read more about them here

About Tea Tree Oil:
Today, you can find tea tree oil in everything from your shampoo to your deodorant, and it has the potential to improve your skin by treating acne, psoriasis, eczema and many other conditions. And aside from helping your skin, tea tree oil has been used to treat everything from bad breath and dandruff to staph infections and genital herpes.

The face wash comes in a long slender tube which is transparent. All the information, ingredients and price is mentioned at the back of the tube. It has a flip cap which I like and it dispenses the face wash well. So far it has not leaked on me so I would say that it is travel friendly.Due to the transparent packaging the face wash is easily visible from the outside which is a plus point as you know how much product is actually left in the tube.

The face wash is orange in color and contains fine micro beads  which are of a decent size but not harsh on the skin and very gentle. I have never sniffed tea tree oil so the presence of it makes it smell a bit medicinal yet nice and gentle.  I have been using this face wash regularly and quite liking it. I have oily to combination skin and this works good for me. Now it does say that it is meant for all skin types well I would say that those with extremely dry skin may not enjoy this. Now I like this face wash because it effectively cleans my face without leaving it dry or stretchy and it stays the same for 3 hours or so. The micro beads are ok and gentle on the skin. It cannot be treated as a scrub. Now since we all know that Tea tree oil is most beneficial for oily skin this face wash helps in controling the oil on the face and hence the pimples. Hence I am liking this product I would say.

The Good:
Decent packaging.
Face wash and scrub 2 in 1
Smells herbal due to presence of tea tree oil.
Gentle on the skin.
Strips the oil from the face but does not make it dry.
Does not contain parabens.
All natural ingredients.
Contains Tea Tree Oil which is best for oily/acne skin.

The not so Good:
Price is slightly more compared to other face washes.
Will not suit extremely dry skin beauties.
Availability is a major issue.

Rating:4/5

In conclusion for my oily to combination skin it will work well. It gets rid of the oilyness and does not dry it too. Also those with acne problem and oily skinned beauties must try it as it contains the goodness of Tea Tree Oil. Hence I recommend it totally.

I hope my review was helpful to all those reading. Please leave a comment below with your thoughts and new visitors can leave their blog links for me to check out.

Happy Weekend everyone xoxo

  7. I've tried products with tea tree. some were acceptable whereas others rejected by my skin. I like the tiny beads inside but my skin is one a dry side, so I can't say anything further.
