Oriflame Professional Foundation Brush Review

Hey girls,
Today I shall be reviewing the Oriflame Professional Foundation Brush which is the second brush in the whole collection I have from Oriflame Professional line of brushes. As  I mentioned in my last review that I am a big fan of make up brushes. The more the merrier and each time I visit Beauty Centre or Beauty Shop I make sure that I pickup one for sure because as they say you cannot have too many make up brushes right.. Lol :P I have used this brush and I am here to tell you about it today. Please read to know more..

Product Description: A high quality tapered brush that delivers a smooth and flawless application.

Material: Nylon, Aluminium, Wood.

Dimensions: 180 mm

Price: Rs.329/- (can be availed on discount for less)
You can buy it from here

Website: www.in.oriflame.com

The foundation brush is black in color. The handle is made of wood and has tiny sparkles on it which makes it a bit sleek and classy. It comes in a plastic wraping case which has  all the information on it which once thrown off is of no use and gone forever. Overall decent and classy packaging I must say and definitely stands out from the other brushes I have.

I never use foundation on a regular basis as I believe in keeping things simple. Also the humid weather of Mumbai does not permit me to do so as my skin tends to get greasy/oily. I usually go for BB cream most of the times and use a brush for it - I mean a foundation brush. I did have one foundation brush for name sake which is unbranded and I was planning to get one until I received this one from Oriflame. My impression was it looks good and feels soft which was like Yayy.. So I did use it for a foundation for which it helped me in achieving a flawless look. The brush is tapered and hence helps in easy application and blending of foundation. It is very important to blend your foundation appropriately so that there are no streaky marks and the face looks well polished. One thing I liked about this brush that it did not pick up too much of the foundation which generally happens with foundation brushes which are more dense in nature (bristles). Since this one is flat and tapered it helps in blending and also does not waste the foundation it picks up. I did wash it and unlike the blush brush this one did not shed hair at all. Overall I am loving this brush and does a decent job.

The Good:
Affordable.
Easily available through an Oriflame representative.
Inexpensive.
Soft and smooth in nature.
Does not shed hair.
The packaging looks classy and stylish.
Helps in flawless application of foundation/BB cream.

The not so Good:
Some may find it difficult to find it but it is easily available online now and you can buy it through their website as well.

Rating: 4.5/5

For this price and the quality it is a must try as most of you may know that make up brushes are very expensive in India. There are many Oriflame representatives from whom you can place the order and you can get it delivered at your door step. Hence I  recommend this brush to all.

  15. A brush is always a great tool to blend foundation. Initially, I used to blend it with fingers, since I have started using a brush blending job has gone lot easier.
