Revlon Nail Enamel in BERRY JEWELLED

Hi girls,

I hope you liked my last review on the Avon lipstick in Romance. By now you can tell I am a lipstick maniac.. Lol. My today's review is a nail paint from Revlon cosmetics called BERRY JEWELLED - NO 320. I am not a big nail polish fan to be honest but hopefully that will change soon :D Let us see how this nail paint fares in my review.

Price: Rs.140/-

Quantity: 8ml.

The nail paint comes in their signature style nail paint bottle. The body is transparent and hence the color can be easily noticed. The cap is black in color and the brand name is embossed on it. The brush is nice and decent and does help in applying the nail paint without any hassle. Overall the packaging is good.

The nail paint is best described as a berry color  with tonnes of shimmer. As the name suggests Berry Jewelled it takes no genius to understand that jewel tones in nail paint is often associated with shimmer. The description on the bottle does mention that you need to apply 2 coats which is absolutely true. The first coat goes on sheer but as you apply the second coat it changes everything. It looks amazing. The nail paint lasts 4 to 5 days and a top coat can make it last longer. The issue with applying glitter, shimmery and jewel toned polishes is that taking it off is a big pain. The glitter  spreads to the fingers but somehow I manage to take it off. I still love this nail paint and it looks really nice on my nails.

The Good:
Lovely berry shade.
Easily available even online.
Gives a jewel toned effect.
Decent staying power.
Packaging is classy and the applicator is nice.

The not so Good:
The glitter may get outside the nails, on the fingers while taking it off.
Non shimmer fans may not like it.

Rating:4.5/5

I love this nail paint no matter what and have used it a couple of times now. I love the effect it gives to my nails especially when it hits the light. I would recommend everyone to try this nail paint especially now when the festive season is near.

I hope you found this review helpful. Please feel free to comment.

Thank you for your time.
