After doing the lipstick tag post, you must have realised that I love my lipsticks. I surely do love my tinted lip balms too. One such lip balm is the Nivea fruity shine lip balm in PINK GUAVA.. Let us see how good it is...
Ingredients: Unfortunately I threw away the container with all the information on it.
Do your lips need soft care and extra moisturization? Try NIVEA Fruity Shine Pink Guava!
- It has delicious fruity scent combined with soothing, long lasting care for your lips.
- It naturally enhances your lips with shimmering pigments and a soft glossy color.
- Protects your lips from harmful UVA & UVB rays with SPF10
HOW IT WORKS: (as mentioned on the Nivea site)
The new formula of NIVEA Lip Care Fruity Shine Pink Guava makes your lips delicious, kissing them with a fruity - fresh sweet guava taste. This lip balm covers your lips with glossy shine, over a subtle pink toned shimmer.
Sweet Almond oil, jojoba oil and Shea Butter keep your lips smooth and soft with a hint of color.
The lip balm comes in a pink and white packaging which looks very cute. The cap click locks and is sturdy. Hence it is travel friendly. The lip balm is glossy with a subtle pink color to it. It also contains finely milled shimmer. The lip balm goes on smoothly and gives this amazing pinkish tint to my lips. You can feel the shimmer but not to that extent that it bothers you. The name says Pink Guava but I find the taste to be mixed fruit.. Lol. The lasting power is ok considering that it is a lip balm. You cannot expect the lip balm to do wonders if you have horrible chapped lips. This lip balm is meant to moisturize but the focus is more towards the shine, flavor and color. Having said that it does make my lips soft. I love love Nivea lip balms, they are of great quality. When you are in no mood to apply any make up or lipstick or you are in such a hurry for office these can be your saviour. These can be layered on top of any lipstick to enhance it or sometimes I would use a lip liner and then this lip balm. These lip balms may tend to melt in hot weather hence it is best stored in a cool place like your fridge. Other than this it is a really nice tinted lip balm.
Cute and sturdy packaging.
Good shine and color pay off.
Contains SPF 10
The not so Good:
May melt in hot weather.
Overall I love Nivea lip balms and Pink Guava is really nice. I recommend this to all if you have not tried it yet.
