Lakme Radiance Compact in NATURAL MARBLE Review

Lakme is a product of Hindustan Unilever Ltd. The powder compact comes in a maroon and gold packaging with the brand name mentioned on the top and details mentioned on the back of the product. It is a pressed powder hence it is convenient to carry in the bag and comes with a decent sponge and a mirror,if you may want to touch up your make up during the day.

I have been using this compact for years and I love it a lot. In a busy city like Mumbai, no women have time to apply foundation, concealer etc on the face in the morning and this powder is like a staple for many. The affordability as well as the trusted brand name works for most women. This powder is not meant for wheatish complexion as it is a bit too light. This powder can be used with a fluffy powder or kabuki brush too but I prefer using it with the sponge because when you dab it into the skin it does last longer. They say its matte, to an extent yes because it helps in controlling the oil on your face.

Lakme Radiance Compact in NATURAL MARBLE Review

The powder is satin smooth in texture and I have never had any problems with the quality till date. Of course this may not be the best compact in the  world, considering in the same line there are so many other  variants now which do have SPF and give a decent coverage but it still works for me. This powder can be best used as a setting powder over your foundation. Now of course since it does not contain SPF, it is advisable to use sunscreen before applying this powder if you are not planning to apply any foundation. In extreme heat this may not last long on the face. I love the smell of this powder, very pleasant and won't irritate you. This is that smell which during your childhood you may have sniffed of your mother's compact powder in her make up vanity. It does make me feel nostalgic <^_^>

Likes:
Affordable.
Nice and smooth texture.
Applies evenly.
Lovely smell.
Decent packaging.
Available everywhere even online.

Dislikes:
Does not contain SPF.
May not cover blemishes.
No ingredients list.

Rating: 4/5 (-1 for no SPF)

Overall I find the product decent and I know most people who love make up and looking good may have tried this in the past . If you have not  then you must give it a try sometime.

I hope my review made sense to all those reading. I love reading your comments.

Love,
