Elle 18 lipstick - APPLE SPRINGS (04)

Hey ladies,

Its time to review a lipstick from one of my favorite inexpensive brand Elle 18. The shade I am talking about is no 04 - APPLE SPRINGS. I have many shades from this range and this one is definitely worth purchasing. I have had this lipstick for a while. Let us see how good it is.

Ingredients: nothing mentioned except that it contains Cocoa Butter.

Price: 100 bucks for 4.3g

The packaging is normal and boring but the animated woman on the tube makes it attractive to look at. The cap shuts well but overtime it may get a bit loose. However I have never had issues with the cap turning loose.

The lipstick is a beautiful red with slight pink undertones, hence it is very wearable. 2 swipes are enough for the color to show on the lips. The centre of the lipstick contains a lip balm which makes the lipstick moisturizing and easy to glide on. Since the lipstick is moisturizing, it may go outside the lips but I generally do not use a lip liner. However if you wish you can use a lip liner.The lipstick does contains shimmer but nothing that will bother you. The staying power is average 2 to 3 hours without any meals in between. Once the lipstick fades it does leave a pink color on the lips. The lipstick smells like bubble gum which I like.

Dislikes:
Very cheap plastic packaging.
Some bullets may be prone to breakage.

Overall I like this lipstick a lot. For 100 bucks you cannot expect a lot. This is perfect for women of any age group whether it is a college student or a working woman. Hence I would recommend that you give these a try for sure.
