COLORESSENCE LIPSTICK IN PEACHY PINK (09) Review

Hello's everyone,

My review today is a lipstick from Coloressence which is the make up range manufactured by Nature's Essence which basically deals in skin care products. The shade I will  be reviewing is from their basic line of lipsticks in no 09 - PEACHY PINK.I have been using their lipsticks for a couple of years now. Let's see how much I like it.

The lipstick comes in a matte black packaging. The name of the brand is embossed on the cover of the lips. The bullet is sturdy and the cap click locks hence it won't open up if you carry it with you while travelling.

The lipstick as the name suggests is peachy in nature. It is brown mixed with peach which when swatched appears a bit like rust color. The lipstick is completely matte in nature and contains silver shimmer. Hence if you have dry lips stay away from this lipstick. The lipstick contains SPF - 15.The staying power is average i.e 2 to 3 hours and fades unevenly. The lipstick does settle into fine lines as it is completely dry in nature. Since there is silver glitter in it, once the lipstick wears off, the glitter still stays on the lips and may go outside the lips as well which I really dislike. If you are a matte lipstick fan you may like it, but I am not a big fan of this lipstick. It does have a pleasant smell which is not too overpowering.

Coloressence is a very affordable brand. It is a hit and miss brand for me. While there are certain lipsticks I like, this one sure did not impress me. The shade is pretty and would have been amazing if it was not too dry. Now I don't know if they have changed the formula recently. You can definitely check them at the store before buying. On the basis of this review I would not recommend this shade unless you are a matte lipstick fan and you are OK with the glitter.What claims they have made, that lipstick is moisturizing definitely doesn't hold true for this one.
