Auravedic Kumkumadi Oil Review
Hello lovelies,
Hope you all had a fantastic weekend. Well I have not been well on and off and I don't know why? I had so much of cold & cough but I am much better now - only the medicine makes me drowsy. Anyhoo today I shall be reviewing the Auravedic Kumkumadi Oil. Facial oils & serums are so much in demand in the market now a days. Most brands do make it but we want something which is organic and devoid of chemicals. I have reviewed one from Shudhvi Naturals in the past on my blog. Let us see how this one fared for me....

Ingredients:
What does the brand say about the product:
Kumkumadi is a unique blend of rare oils and herbs with pure saffron formulated to help skin look young ,healthy and spotless. This very rich oil nourishes & adds radiance to the skin, reduces Dark spots, Pigmentation and Blemishes.

Usages : Gently massage every morning & night on clean skin using upward circular movements.
The facial one comes in a plastic square shaped transparent bottle with a pink sticker on it. The cap is golden in color and sits well on the bottle. Basic instructions are mentioned on the bottle. The bottle looks travel friendly but once you pierce a hole for the product to be used one needs to be careful or there are chances of leaking.
Kumkumadi Tailam is Ayurvedic herbal oil used for face massage. It is helpful to improve skin texture, complexion and also to relieve skin problems such as acne, scars etc. Kumkuma means saffron, which is the main ingredient of this medicine.
Auravedic Kumkumadi Oil Review |
As the name suggests the major ingredient of this facial oil is Saffron (Kesar in India) Saffron has skin lightening properties which means it is good for lightening the skin and face scars over repeated use. I do have oily to combination skin and more oily at the moment. The first time I tried it on my whole face I found it too oily for my face. Hence the way I figured it out to be used was to use around my mouth which I have pigmentation & blemishes. I usually use it at night before bed as it may be more effective then. This oil is best suited for dry skin beauties honestly. Those with oily skin can only use it for affected areas like I did.It smells like saffron. It makes the skin really soft on usage & fades scars and pigmentation on repeated use.I see myself using it in the coming winter months when my skin turns dry. For now I would conclude it is a wonderful all over the face product for dry skin beauties.
The Good:
Easily available online
Inexpensive
Paraben and Sulphate free
100% natural
Contains Saffron which is essentially kumkumadi.
It has skin lightening properties
Reduces dark spots, scars & pigmentation with repeated use.
Meant for dry skin
Smells lovely
The not so Good:
Is quite rich & oily for oily skin girls
Packaging can be improcved to be travel friendly.
Rating: 4/5 ( -1 because it is not meant for my oily skin)
Auravedic Kumkumadi Oil is a 100% natural & organic facial oil meant for dry skin beauties in my opinion. It lightens the complexion and scars when used over a period of time. A must try in my opinion because of its wonderful & natural ingredients.

ReplyDeleteI've never heard of this product but it sounds great for dry skin ♡
With saffron?? Awesome but I have to agree with you about such a product. The oiliness meaning I break up if used often. Have tried some oil based products. Not to say bad but rich for my skin. The last breakup was really bad.
ReplyDeleteHope you are feeling better now Nat. TC.

DeleteDry Skin*
Deleteany facial oil is supposed to be used in moderation - I have oily skin and us a facial oil nightly. This particular oil should only be used three or so drops at a time. Done.
