Dear Earth Bamboo Charcoal Moisturizing Lotion Review
Hi everyone,
Hope the winter is treating you well. So far it has not been freezing cold in Mumbai which is a good thing as well as bad as in general the climate of Mumbai is humid and we also would want to sport our jackets and scarves which we really get to do.. Lol. Coming to today's review I shall be reviewing Dear Earth's Bamboo Charcoal Moisturizing Lotion which I am loving for now. Let us find out more about this lotion in my review today.
What does the brand say:
At Dear Earth, we believe in making products that help you reconnect with nature, without the baggage of artificial ingredients.
Embrace tough adventures without a care in the world with the Dear Earth Bamboo Charcoal lotion. Bamboo charcoal has an incredible ability to detoxify skin. Vitamin E is a powerful antioxidant, while zesty lemon oil clears acne, oiliness and dead skin. Soy lecithin locks in necessary moisture and nourishes evenly with fatty acids. Bamboo Charcoal Lotion, and your thirst for thrill is all you need to take on your next incredible expedition. Handmade with USDA organic ingredients, raw, and Vegan and PETA certified. Travel-friendly packaging, so your skin does not have to miss out on being cared for when you are on the go!
The lotion comes in a cute and chubby transparent bottle. with a brown cap.The cap has a flip opening with a small outlet at the side which dispenses the right amount for application. All the basic information and ingredients are mentioned on the bottle itself. I never experienced any leakage from the bottle and is definitely travel friendly.
The lotion is not too thick nor too thin, the perfect consistency I have been looking for. It goes on smothly on the hands and feet and seeps in quickly without making the skin sticky or greasy. First thing first I always sniff the bottle and the smell was very mesmerizing to me. I could smell citrus notes to it as rightly mentioned in the ingredients list and it also is like a mood enhancer. The smell is very calming & soothing and nothing over the top.
The color of the lotion is off white and it does have fine specks of bamboo dust in it. I usually apply this lotion generously all over my body after bath and it locks in the moisture for 5 hours or so. I do apply it on my hands and legs before sleeping too. It is a handmade product with all natural ingredients hence it has a short shelf life of 12 months and one needs to use it before that. The brand is PETA certified & cruelty free. Using this body lotion has definitely made my skin soft, smooth & supple. This is argueably one of the best body lotions I have used. Some may find the price expensive which you may know even I am against expensive products but the ingredients and what it does the skin I think the price is totally justified.
The Good:
Easily available online.
Has goodness of bamboo & charcoal.
Smells so good & soothes the senses.
Moisturizes the skin very well.
Apt for all skin types.
Makes skin soft & supple.
Cruelty free.
Organic & Handmade.
100% vegetarian.
The not so Good:
Pricey for many ( I think the price is justified though)
Rating: 4.8/5
Dear Earth Bamboo Charcoal Moisturizing Lotion is one of the best moisturizing body lotion I have used. It looks good, smells good, is cruelty free and makes my skin soft and supple. Hence I highly recommend everyone to try it.

ReplyDeleteNatasha I really like organic products... they do tend to be more pricey but like you said, some are worth it... the citrus scent would be divine ♡

The cream itself is thick that is a good thing. Dear Nat have a Happy New Year may 2015 bring you success and joy to you and your family.
ReplyDeletePrice is not an issue for me. I go for quality and I think quality comes with a price sometimes. I like this moisturiser very much, one which if possible I will buy and use.
