Himalaya Anti Dandruff Hair Oil Review

The hair oil comes in a transparent- long and slender bottle with a flip cap which is green in color. It has a small outlet for the oil to come out which makes it easy to use and apply on the hair.It has not leaked on me thankfully hence I would say it is travel friendly. Now since it is transparent you can make out the quantity of the hair oil in the bottle which I absolutely love. Nothing fancy yet effective packaging.

Now coming to what I think. The whole month of July I was suffering from excessive hair fall due to dandruff. I have an oily scalp but this time the flakes were way too much. I tried using almond oil - the bajaj one and then washing with Patanjali anti dandruff shampoo it did not work. In fact I had itching problem this time which was getting frustrating. I did read a couple of reviews on the Himalaya Anti Dandruff Oil so I had to get it first things first. It has a mild and medicinal smell as it contains Tea Tree Oil which is most effective on dandruff and Rosemary oil which is an anti fungal agent. It also contains neem which is the most effective herb for hair and skin too as we may all know.

I did use this hair oil once I got it and on first application the itching reduced which was like vow but then I realised that the shampoo was not working for me so I switched over to Head & Shoulders Shampoo and now it has practically and almost gone. Overnight application is more effective and I would recommend it totally. I do want to try the Himalaya Anti Dandruff Shampoo too in future. Overall I would say that I am impressed with this hair oil. Now the extent of dandruff can vary from person to person some may have to see a dermatologist too but I think that this hair oil is a cost effective solution and definitely works on continuous and repeated uses.

Prevents flaking.

Kills the itching problem

Contains goodness of Rosemary oil and Tea Tree Oil.

Controls dandruff effectively.

Does not dry the hair after hair wash.

Travel friendly packaging.

The not so Good:

Cannot think of any

This is the most effective hair oil in the market for dandruff. For the price you cannot get anything better than this. My dandruff is almost gone now so I would say that it is effective. Hence I recommend this product to all.
