Hi friends,

We all like to pamper our skin every now and then by visiting a salon or beauty parlour. I used to do the same few years back but I stopped going to the parlor for a facial from the last 2 years because I am very picky about the products used on my face especially after being a beauty blogger.. Lol.... We all invest in good quality skin care products like cleanser, scrub and creams to pamper our skin which is good but what if I tell you about a facial kit which can give you a facial at home and costs hardly anything. My today's review is a herbal facial kit from Charm & Glow I got about a month back and after using it I can tell you my opinion on it. Read on to know more...

The Herbal Facial kit comes in a cardboard paper packaging with all the instructions at the back. The pack contains a leaflet inside too for all the necessary information inside. It comes with 5 individual sachets each is for one time use and is systematically mentioned from Step 1 to 5. All the information about how the sachet can be used is mentioned at the back of each sachet along with the ingredients. Now let us see the steps in detail:-

FYI : I have oily to combination skin. In summers it turns oily.

Step 1: Cleanser:

A Cleanser is the first step in a facial. It was milky white in color and a bit runny but lathered well and went ok with my oily skin now in summers. It has a nice smell and did a good job of cleansing my face without drying it.

Step 2: Exfoliating Scrub: After using the cleanser one needs to scrub the face. As mentioned it contains Walnut and Olive oil. The scrub is gentle on the skin and did a good job for my face.

Step 3: Spa Massage Cream: After using the scrub you need to massage the face with this cream which had a lovely smell. The cream was white in color and was not extremely greasy. I massaged well on my face and neck and wiped it off before moving to the next step.

Step 4: Face Pack: The face pack is a crucial step in facial. It came in a cream format and was white in color. I noticed it burnt a bit around my nose area for a minute or so but then the burning vanished. It could have been because I threaded my upper lip area a day before.

Step 5: Rejuvenating & Fairness Cream: This is always the last step in a facial. The cream contains goodness of Tomato Skin, Green Tea and Carrot. When I applied this cream it instantly brightened my face giving me a fresh look. No It did not make me fair :p it just brightened my face.

My experience of using the kit was overall good. Whenever I hear herbal and natural I always jump for it. I was not expecting a lot but I am pleasantly surprised by the results. If you look at the before and after picture the difference clearly shows. My pores look less and I look refreshed and rejuvenated. As my skin was oily I was worried if it works for me but after completing all the steps I am pleased with the results. This kit does not mention if it suits all skin types and I cannot sure shot tell you if it will work for you or not. For the price and the result it is a must buy for me again.

The Good:

The most inexpensive facial kit in the market.

One time use kit which will give you good results.

Herbal products - safe for the skin.

Did not break me out.

Ingredients list mentioned everywhere.

The not so Good:

Can't think of any as such.

Charm & Glow Herbal Facial Kit is a must try for everyone. It is herbal, inexpensive and it worked well for my oily to combination skin. I had grabbed this from the Patanjali store near my house you can check there or any Ayurvedic shop in your area. The company is not known much but I do know that they have a facebook page you may check it out.
