Miss Claire Eye liner in Deep Brown - Review, Swatches and EOTD

Hi everyone,
Hope you all are having a nice week so far. Mine has been a bit slow to be honest and very hot as the summers have already begun here in India. I hate summers as it makes you all smelly and stinky.. Lol.. To top it all make up is a no no as everything will melt away in sweat. Today I shall be talking about an eye liner from Miss Claire which is a brand made famous by me here in the blogging world I guess.. Hahaha..  I love brown eye liners and this one is a brown too called Miss Claire Glimmersticks for eyes in Deep Brown. Let us find out more about this product in my review....

Ingredients: Nothing mentioned.

Price: Rs.50/- for 1.8gm (not bad)

Shelf life: mentioned.

The eye liner comes in a pencil format which needs to be sharpened. Due to sharpening  some product does get wasted in the bargain. It comes with a silver cap which sits well on the eye liner and I have not had any issues with it so far. The color of the eye liner almost matches to that the product hence it is easy to  locate it in your huge vanity. Overall I would say it is travel friendly and for that price cannot complain much.

The eye liner is a deep brown color as the name rightly suggests. The eye liner is richly pigmented and 2 swipes are enough for the color to show up on the lids. It is a bit metallic in nature but nothing over the top. It has teeny tiny shimmer which  is hardly visible to the eyes. The eye liner is creamy and glides smoothly on the eye lids hence it is easy to use. Due to its creamy nature it does smudge if touched but as long as you don't touch, it stays put and does not go anywhere. Hence lasting wise it is decent and opaque enough for an eye liner. Ideally you could use a dark brown eye shadow to set it so that it becomes matte and lasts long like  I do. In the picture I have used it below the lower lash line and tried to smudge it. I would not advise it to be used on the waterline as we have no idea about the ingredients. This eye liner is awesome as a base for brown smokey eyes. Availability might be an issue for many but do check small time beauty shops they do stock these.

The Good:
Deep dark brown color.
Inexpensive.
Decent packaging.
Color of the eye liner matches the packaging.
Glides on smoothly on the eyes.
Travel friendly.

The not so Good:
Availability.
Smudging part.
Sharpening causes product wastage..
Ingredients list missing.

Rating :4.2/5

Considering the price and what you get I think it is a great product. If it does not work as an eye liner it can surely be used as a base over the eye lids. I love this one particularly and will definitely repurchase it as I love brown eye liners.
