Avon Simply Pretty liquid eye liner in Black Review Swatches and EOTD

Happy Monday everyone. The weather is very dull and cloudy today but that did not stop me from writing this review.Today I shall be reviewing a black eye liner which I have been using for a year but not regularly. It is  a liquid eye liner from Avon from their Simply Pretty Collection in Black. In my previous job some of my female friends loved this and I got them many. What I think of this you need to read on to know more.

Price: Rs. 129/- in the current Avon catalogue but is available on discount every other month.

What does Avon say about the liquid eye liner:
Defines without smudging and lasts through the day.

The liquid eyeliner comes in a glass bottle with a pinkie purple screw cap. The wand is nice and thin and helps in precise application. Those who like their eyeliner thin will love this. Of course if you want a thicker line you can go over it again to achieve the desired look.  It is travel friendly and can be comfortably carried around in your hand bag.

The Avon Simply Pretty liquid eye liner comes in only one shade - Black. In my earlier office all my female friends sweared by this eye liner and I got them a couple of these. The eye liner is jet black and contains no shimmer. The handle is long enough and one can use it comfortably to draw a decent fine line on the eyes, however the wand picks up much more liquid than required hence one needs to get the excess off before applying. 

The eye liner is not too thick nor too thin. Since it is a liquid eye liner do not over apply as it will just come down the eyes. It takes sometime to dry but once it sets it will not budge anywhere unless u scratch it off. As claimed it is water proof and will not come off unless you rub your eyes. It is smudge proof and water proof once it sets. I am personally not a fan of liquid eyeliner but this one is good. I wish the wand was more stiff like the metallic liquid eyeliner I had reviewed before on the blog. Other than that for the price it is very good in my opinion.

The Good:
Good quantity.
Affordable.
Jet black color.
No shimmer.
Thin wand helps in precise application.
Waterproof and smudge proof.

The not so Good:

Some may have difficulty in finding an Avon representative. However it is easily available on Ebay.

If over applied may run down the eyes. Also the wand picks up much more liquid hence one needs to take off the excess before applying.

I have used this eye liner a couple of times and it is very good. For that quantity and amount you cannot get anything better than this. So all you make up lovers and liquid eye liner lovers go grab one for yourself you will like it.
