ORIFLAME PURE COLOR LIPSTICK IN VINTAGE ROSE

Hey ladies,
My love for lipstick is never ending and today is yet another lipstick from my huge (maybe) lipstick collection. Lol.. More than a year back I had purchased a lot of Oriflame lipsticks. The one I shall review is from their basic range of lipsticks called VINTAGE ROSE.Let's see if this lipstick is truly worth your money or not...

ORIFLAME PURE COLOR LIPSTICK IN VINTAGE ROSE

Ingredients: No idea as it is not mentioned anywhere.

Price: I got it on discount but the price is Rs. 139/- last seen in May 2013 catalogue.

Quantity: 4g

Shelf life: 3 years app. (mentioned on the tube)

The packaging of the lipstick is very plasticky. The body is black in color and the cover is transparent, hence you can peek a boo the lipstick shade from the top.The lipstick comes with a sticker which I absolutely hate. You can't even take it off because it can get sticky and you may scratch the tube :/ The name of the shade is mentioned at the bottom of the lipstick. The lipstick click locks hence it is easy to carry it with you in your purse while travelling.

The lipstick is a purely creamy  lipstick but sadly on the sheer side. I totally adore this shade and I always look out for these n*de pink lipsticks but sadly this lipstick disappointed me. I had got a couple of shades from this range and this is one of my favourite one. It is a perfect light pink lipstick just right for my complexion. As the name suggests it is a light rosy pink color. The lipstick does not contain shimmer which I like. The lipstick is moisturizing enough hence I do not apply any lip balm before but those with extremely dry and chapped lips should always exfoliate and moisturize their lips before using the lipstick.

ORIFLAME PURE COLOR LIPSTICK IN VINTAGE ROSE

The lipstick has a lovely floral smell which no one will dislike for sure. Since the lipstick is sheer it takes multiple swipes to show up on the lips.I do have pigmented lips hence the lipstick requires multiple applications to show up on my lips which I don't like. Hence I got the feeling that I may be using a tinted lip balm because tinted lip balms now a days give plenty of color on the lips. The lipstick has horrible staying power and won't last for more than a hour.

Likes:
Beautiful color.
Variety of shades in the same range.
Pleasant smell.
Moisturizing.

Dislikes:
Sheer color.
Horrible staying power.
Available through an Oriflame representative or online on ebay.
Boring packaging.
Ingredients list not mentioned.

Rating: 2.5/5 (extra .5 because I liked the color)

This lipstick had great potential of being an awesome MLBB ( my lips but better shade) type of lipstick but its formula failed for me. A moisturizing lipstick is good enough but if it does not stay and also does not give an opaque finish can be better termed as a tinted lip balm in my opinion. I do not recommend this particular shade of  lipstick. To be honest there are better options available in the market now a days.

( The lipstick may not be available in their current catalogue. If interested you can check their future catalogues on www.in.oriflame.com  for availability )

I hope my review made sense and was helpful to all those reading. Let me know if you have tried these lipsticks.

Take care,
