Kronokare Hydrate the Hair Shampoo & Hydrate and Untangle Conditioner Review

Hi everyone,
Today I shall be reviewing Kronokare's Mediterranean Citrus Hydrate the Hair Shampoo & Mediterranean Citrus Hydrate and Untangle Conditioner Review. The name is pretty long Phew!! Anyhow I  had talked about Kronokare's products on my blog before - the body lotion & shower gel  I was not a person who could change their shampoo frequently but being a beauty blogger I get so many to try cannot help it :P Also you discover many unknown brands which may be even better than the normal shampoos available in the market. Read on to know my views on the shampoo & conditioner.

Price of Shampoo: Rs. 105/- for 60ml & Rs. 325/- for 200 ml. Available here
Price of Conditioner: Rs. 115/- for 60ml  for & Rs. 35/- for 220 ml. Available here

What does the brand say about the shampoo & conditioner :
Get rid of the yucky, feel lovely and lucky! Citrus works on cleansing from within, and on every inch, from toe to chin. The essential oils will hydrate and care, and with a scent so fresh, you'll think twice before you share.

Packaging:
The shampoo & the conditoner come in a tiny bottle which is black in color and labelled with the brand's sticker which is flourescent green in color. All the information & basic ingredients are printed at the back. The small size of 60 ml makes it pocket friendly and perfect as a travel size sample.

Ingredients for Shampoo:
Citrus Bergamia, Citrus Sinensis, Citrus Paradiisi, Sodium Leuryl Ether Sulphate, Coco Di Ethanol Amide, Coco Mono Ethanol Amide, Dimethicon Derivetive (DC 8500), Methylchloroisothiazolinone, Ethylene Diamin Tetra Acetic Acid, Colour, Distilled water

My thoughts on the SHAMPOO:
The shampoo is gel like and clear without any color to it. I did require a generous amount for hair as they have grown pretty long now. I haven't cut my hair since a year now. This shampoo is ideal for those with oily scalp hence this will be my best friend in summers. It cleans the scalp well without leaving a residue behind which I love. The smell is cirtus due to the presence of Orange and Bergamont so if you are not a fan of the scent you would consider buying this. Since winter is almost here this shampoo would not work now as my hair tends to get frizzy. I would suggest using a conditioner after this. I like that it parabens and SLS free hence would try this in summers.

Rating: 3.8/5

Ingredients for Conditioner:
Citrus Bergamia, Citrus Sinensis, Citrus Paradiisi, Iso Propyl Maristate, Mineral Oil, Glycerine, Emulsifying Wax, Olive Oil, DC 245 Silicon Direvetive, DC 350 Silicon Derivetive, Imid Urea, 2-Phenoxyethanol, Ethylene Diamin Tetra Acetic Acid, Colour, Distilled water

My thoughts on the CONDITIONER:
The conditioner is stark white in color. It is not too thick nor too thin. It smells citrusy just like the shampoo. I used it along with the shampoo as the shampoo is not hydrating enough for me now in winters. I did use it on the ends and it worked pretty ok. Instructions were given to run your fingers on the hair which I did but honestly I did not find anything special. Once I towel dried my hair though I found less tangles which is good. Usually I wait for my hair to dry atleast 80% and then only use a wide tooth to get the knots off so it was pretty ok however nothing exceptional and I would consider using this conditioner in summers.

Rating: 4/5

The Good:
Cleans the scalp well.
Citrus scented.
Decent packaging.
Ingredients mentioned.
Shampoo & conditioner work well together.
Parabens & SLS free.
Travel friendly packaging.

The not so Good:
Not hydrating enough for winters.
A bit pricey compared to other brands.

Kronokare Hydrate the Hair Shampoo & Hydrate and Untangle Conditioner from my experience would work well in summer for my hair as my scalp tends to get oily. I would also recommend using both together. The citrusy smells gives you a fresh feeling. Hence I recommend this shampoo & conditioner to those with oily hair & scalp.

I hope this review was helpful & informative to all those reading. Please leave a comment below with your input and new bloggers/visitors may leave their blog links for me to check out.

Until next time.. Happy Shampooing ;)
